What is this role? We are looking for a contract Technical Recruiter to be based out of our Los Angeles SDL office (some remote days possible). This Technical Recruiter will help place highly qualified technical talent for permanent roles with in the Research and Science Department based in L.A. You will also pipeline for future roles. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting technical talent in Los Angeles and know the L.A. market well. Responsibilities - Proactively research and evaluate new sourcing and research ideas and methods to create innovative sourcing strategies. - Develop candidate pipelines for open roles through various channels, including job boards, networking sites, social media etc. - Utilization of applicant tracking system to create requisitions and process approvals - Work with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and research markets for effective recruitment, pre-screen appropriate candidates and schedule interviews Requirements: - 3+ years of full life cycle technical recruiting in a corporate environment - Localization, High Tech or Software industry experience is preferred - Experience partnering with hiring managers to implement hiring best practices - Ability to source talent directly at all levels utilizing creative recruiting strategies is essential - Experience developing comprehensive recruitment strategies - Understanding and experience in the use of online recruitment tools including general and industry specific job boards, networking sites, resume databanks - Expert applicant tracking system user - Understanding of HR practices and employment law/regulations Benefits - Amazing benefits.
