Dillon’s Finance group is looking for two Billing Clerks to join our multidisciplinary team of professionals reporting to the Billing Coordinator. We are looking to hire a full-time position and a minimum 12-month contract position with the potential to stay on full-time. Both positions will be located in our London, ON office.
What your day will look like
Billing (100%)Prepare client invoices, including supporting documentation and attachments. Obtain approvals on Sub-Contractor Agreements and subsequent invoices. Setup and maintenance of project and billing terms in accordance with contracts. Draft and review bills in the billing software. Track all bills sent for review or approval to ensure they are turned around within a reasonable time. Respond to billing queries on a day-to-day basis. Communicate with project managers, project administrators, and finance staff. Assist with other accounting and administrative functions. Other duties as assigned.
What you will need to succeedCompletion of a post-secondary diploma program in a Business related field.
Experience1 – 2 + years of experience in a billing atmosphere with a focus on accounting would be considered an asset. High degree of proficiency with Microsoft platforms & financial software applications. Established and effective verbal and written communication skills. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
