Full Job Description
United Airlines is currently seeking a motivated and
detail-oriented Junior Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our
team in Washington, D.C. This role will provide hands-on experience
in the maintenance and repair of aircraft, ensuring the safety and
reliability of our fleet.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft components and systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning parts.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure efficient and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in aviation maintenance technology preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance (preferred).
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license (A&P license) or working towards obtaining one.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
