As a Precision Vehicle Holdings company, Precision Vehicle Logistics was originally created in 2014. Precision Vehicle Logistics is focused on yard management working in partnership with labor unions. PVL offers a full range of vehicle processing services for origin facilities, destination ramps, and ports - including rail loading and unloading.
Job Summary:
This role plays a key role in supporting operational excellence by designing and delivering hands-on, system-focused training programs for Supervisors working in yard operations, AV systems, and logistics support roles.
This position ensures team members are properly trained on all relevant systems, technologies, and procedures, supporting a safe, compliant, and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Ensure a safe, harassment-free work environment by adhering to and enforcing company policies, safety procedures, applicable laws, and Precision Values.
- Deliver technical, hands-on training in operational systems, yard movement processes, AV technology platforms, and computer-based tools.
- Evaluate, design, and coordinate technical training sessions based on system requirements and real-time operational needs.
- Work closely with operational and IT teams to understand new tools, technologies, and system updates to be incorporated into training.
- Conduct needs analyses specific to technical and system-based competencies; identify gaps in knowledge and skills for targeted improvement.
- Collaborate with department leads and the Training Manager to develop training schedules, materials, and delivery strategies.
- Provide one-on-one coaching for Supervisors on system navigation, reporting tools, and daily technology workflows.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through observation, assessments, and feedback; recommend and implement improvements.
- Track new hire progress and technical proficiency during onboarding and early development; escalate concerns as necessary.
- Support and mentor new hires, providing technical training reinforcement and real-time feedback during live operations.
- Assist in annual compliance and refresher trainings related to system usage, security protocols, and technology-driven processes.
- Maintain records of training activities, employee performance, and system access requirements for auditing and reporting purposes.
Education and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in technical training or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with logistics operations, yard movement and procedures, and AV systems.
- Proficient in using computers, logistics software, and communication platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to teach complex topics in a clear and engaging manner.
- Ability to assess employee learning styles and adjust training methods accordingly.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple training sessions and projects simultaneously.
- Must be comfortable working in operational environments including yards, terminals, and indoor office spaces.
- Ability to conduct training on the floor, in yards, and via computer-based platforms.
- Some travel between sites may be required.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
The STEPS Earn & Learn Success Coach (hereafter referred to as "Coach") will work directly with young adults participating in the Earn & Learn and Fostering Success Programs. These programs are designed to support current and former foster youth ages 18-22 in achieving their educational and career goals.
The Coach will provide holistic, strengths-based support to participants pursuing college or GED completion, while also preparing them for long-term academic, personal, and professional success. Coaches will be required to attend an orientation prior to beginning their duties.
Job duties include:
- Develop individualized job coaching and academic support plans
- Communicate with participants to understand their goals and ambitions
- Assess participants' strengths and areas for growth
- Provide coaching in effective job search techniques and workplace readiness
- Support participants in identifying and overcoming employment and academic barriers
- Guide participants in completing employment- and school-related tasks
- Monitor and evaluate participant progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to participant contact and progress
- Coordinate and provide holistic support to program participants who are attending college
- Coordinate and provide holistic support in areas such as:
- Academic and career planning
- Financial aid and budgeting
- Mental health and well-being
- Basic needs (housing, food, transportation, etc.)
- Social-emotional development and positive relationships
- Provide regular feedback to program staff and partners on participant needs and progress

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Previous professional experience working with transition-age youth (ages 18-22), especially those with experience in foster care

- Team-oriented with ability to work independently
- Some travel may be required

BHE GT&S has an exciting summer internship opportunity for a rising Sophomore or Junior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, or Engineering within the Technical Training Department at our Delmont Area located in Delmont, PA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with training team to design and implement a cutting-edge training tool that utilizes Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence technologies. This tool aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our training programs, ensuring that our workforce is well-equipped to adhere to operational procedures safely.
- Digitize operational knowledge: Convert existing procedures, tasks, and step-by-step workflows; ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with operational standards.
- Manage application: Oversee access permissions, user group structures, and content organization to ensure smooth day-to-day platform operations.
- Train and support users: Conduct onboarding and refresher sessions for teams, provide in-the-moment support, and build confidence.
- Conduct field visits: Capture location-specific procedures, validate content in live operational settings, and gather user feedback for continuous improvement.
- Expand platform value: Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify additional workflows and processes that can benefit from digitization.
- Track adoption and improvements: Monitor usage metrics, surface adoption challenges, and recommend enhancements to drive platform impact.
Technical Skills:

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates should be a rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled in a 4 year ABET accredited Engineering Bachelor's degree program or pursuing a degree in Computer Science.
