You will develop a clear perspective for how our personalization application fits into the overall digital product strategy; identify data, software, or system engineering growth opportunities; and create a bold vision for how to evolve into the tech stack to meet both our machine learning and enterprise business objectives.

As a Product Manager, you will work in the product model and collaborate with stakeholders to assist in defining product strategy, related roadmap, and set key business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product.  You will need to leverage the knowledge of your product, as well as client feedback and establish other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will lead a product and work in unison with engineers, data scientists, and business partners to deliver value.

You will be the “voice of the product” to key stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful. About you:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of experience in technical product management, preferably in a retail environment, with a record of successfully delivering complex products

  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends and patterns, and make data-driven decisions; strong track record of delivering roadmaps consistently.

  • Experience working in an engineering, data science, computer science, or relevant technical professional experience; prior programming experience in Python or Java a plus

  • Experience leading design, engineering and implementation of machine learning algorithms for high volume app and web placements

  • Demonstrated ability to dive deep into technical details and engage engineers with ask insightful questions about services and dependencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.

The Opportunity

As a dedicated Director, Data Scientist, you will lead a team of Data Scientists responsible for identifying, scoping, and translating business problems into applied statistical, machine learning, simulation, and optimization solutions to inform actionable business insights and drive business value through automation, revenue generation, and expense and risk reduction. Works with business leaders to ideate, valuate, and scope projects to meet business needs. What you'll do:
  • Acts as advanced analytics thought leader and advisor to the business to shape strategies that drive competitiveness and differentiation.

  • This position will support the sustainment and modernization of a FMV video streaming capability supporting a large quantity of simultaneous video streams.
  • This individual will implement and maintain the processing, remediation, and routing of video streams to support a key real-time mission capability as part of an Agile development team.
  • The individual will be expected to interact with the operations team and other programs to identify root cause and support resolution of issues discovered with the FMV capabilities in operations.
  • Obtain and maintain SCI program access and complete polygraphs .

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Experience with Java and C++.
