Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking motivated and talented Air Proprietary Associate Systems Integration Engineers to join the Digital Engineering team in the St. Louis, Missouri region.
You will be joining a high-performing, cross-functional team responsible for developing a future-ready, state-of-the-art Digital Ecosystem. This position is contingent upon a future contract award.
As an Associate Systems Integration Engineer within Air Dominance, you will help build and mature the digital ecosystem, which consists of interconnected technologies, platforms (such as manned and/or unmanned aircraft), and services that work together to enable collaboration and data exchanges among various participants, including customer and industry. This interconnectedness enhances customer mission readiness and effectiveness and drives innovation. In this role, you will help realize the program data architecture, expand and connect digital threads, connect and control data, and enable advanced data analytics and AI/ML.
Position Responsibilities
- Build and integrate microservices and REST APIs to support application functionality
- Assist in the design and development of solutions leveraging generative AI technologies
- Support software and system integration development efforts in support of digital engineering / model-based engineering capabilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ontologies
- Work cross-functionally with multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to assist and enable their adoption of new digital engineering capabilities throughout all aspects of the engineering lifecycle
- Actively participate in agile development, including program increment planning
- Adhere to Systems Engineering and DevSecOps processes to develop applications and workflows that support data analysis and visualization

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

- Coursework or Work-related programming experience with any of the following software development languages: Ada, C, C++, C#, JAVA, or Python
- 2 + years’ experience working in a project utilizing modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Experience with development of data integration solutions including Application Programming Interface (API) Integration

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance Proprietary Program Systems Engineering team is seeking a Senior Model-Based Systems Engineering Infrastructure Engineer to develop profiles, plugins, connectors, and customizations for the program’s System Architecture Model in Berkeley, MO .
This candidate will be responsible for ensuring the custom capabilities developed for the Magic Systems of Systems Architecture (MSOSA) large scale system architecture model meet the needs required for all engineering teams to execute their work in the model, as required by the contract. The candidate will work with the Integrated Product Teams across the program to understand the required needs, develop solutions to meet their needs, test and validate the solutions, and deploy the solutions to the program. The candidate will continue to guide the team in implementing the developed features and refine / update as required. The candidate will assist in maintaining the architecture’s infrastructure models to ensure consistency across the program’s system architecture projects.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop profiles, plugins, and customizations for the Magic Systems of Systems Architecture (MSOSA) toolset to meet the needs of the program contract 
- Develop connectors between MSOSA and digital engineering tools

- Develops and documents mechanical engineering designs and analysis, including technical data packages, test plans, post-test reports, process specifications, and work instructions 
- Develops cost reduction proposals, calculates return on investment, develops project requirements and schedules, and implements them into production 
- Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications 
- Supports on-going production activities and provides real-time support as non-conformances arise 
- Supports engineering release processes to include program Configuration Control Board(s) 
- Contributes to supplier development, test, production, and troubleshooting activities 
- Provides leadership, coaching, and technical oversight to other mechanical engineers 
- Advises, assists and checks mechanical engineering work products with a primary outcome of technical integrity while enabling the achievement of business goals 
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry 
- 10+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering related role 
- 2+ years technical engineering experience leading a team or project 
- Knowledge of aerospace structure, materials strengths and properties, design criteria, loading conditions, and processes 
- Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources 
- Ability to digest functional requirements and apply them to the product 
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment to produce high quality engineering products 
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
- Understanding of Boeing Engineering Standards and Design Practices 
- Strong understanding of GD&T concepts, practice and implementation 
- Experience with thermal and vibration environmental testing 
- Experience in supporting full-rate production program(s)

- Strong ability to model and inspire servant leadership style, and model seek, speak, and listen behaviors 
- Flexibility, adaptability, and being comfortable with a highly dynamic and exciting work environment 
- Experience using Boeing Common Non-Recurring Product Development (C-NRPD) or equivalent Boeing Development Processes 
- Ability to produce and understand engineering drawings and 3-D Computer Aided Design models using Creo Parametric 
- Strong understanding of Finite Element Modeling techniques 
- Experience with 2D-Drawing authority programs 
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance
