Position Summary :
This person will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical support in response to operational changes resulting from the malfunction, breakdown, relocation, replacement or other modifications of existing and new mechanical systems and/or equipment.
Essential Duties, Functions, and responsibilities:
Analyze and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems in facility production equipment, identifying root causes and engineering solutions to prevent recurrence.
Design and implement improvements to electrical control systems to optimize production efficiency and reduce downtime.
Develop and oversee preventive programs based on engineering analysis to enhance overall equipment performance.
Ensure all electrical systems and components comply with relevant safety regulations and electrical codes.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation to guide system diagnostics and upgrades.
Experienced in industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and related control technologies. Able to configure, program, and troubleshoot automation equipment.
Familiarity with platforms like Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar is preferred.
Lead technical projects, including the installation and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality assurance, to maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and product standards.
Ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when bypassing safety guards or servicing equipment, including isolating electrical and pneumatic energy sources to maintain a safe work environment.
Provide technical training and guidance to maintenance staff and production operators on electrical systems and best practices.
Maintain up-to-date documentation on electrical systems, modifications, and activities for compliance and continuous improvement efforts.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to work with all types of electrical equipment and tools.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock and vibration.
The duties of this job require a person to stop, bend, work off knees, climb ladders and work in high areas up to 130 feet, work in dark areas and work in confined spaces after trained to do so.
Must be able to climb ladder and wear fall protection as necessary.
The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.

Requirements
Requirements of the Associate Energy Transaction Trader:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Ability to analyze market conditions and to identify opportunities and strategies to reduce Net Power Costs and effectively communicate to Energy Supply Management personnel.
- Ability to problem solve and obtain results within time constraints
- Ability to provide clear documentation for the purpose of root cause analysis
- Ability to identify, negotiate, and close on sales and purchase opportunities.

Summary of Position
This role is for an individual contributor and will focus on technical leadership of embedded electronic design and product development lifecycle for our product roadmap. - Ensure the development of clear and concise firmware and hardware specifications/ documentation and solutions to meet product requirements
- Interact with team members from other disciplines to complete project deliverables, solve problems
- Work with global EE leadership to report the project status, review, meet and update the organizational objectives
- Be able to lead and mentor junior engineers and technologists.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a technical leadership role involving the design, development and delivery of embedded hardware and firmware projects
- Experience in aspects of electrical design: component selection, system architecture, design verification and documentation
- Experience of delivering products while meeting Design for Manufacturability, testability and reliability guidelines.
- Experience in the development of embedded firmware of microcontrollers, including design, test and debugging.
- Experience of resolving compliance testing and EMI/EMC issue through methodical RCA.
- Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and the ability to “find order in chaos”.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision or guidance
- A broad view and understanding of the product development process, and effective experience leading multi-disciplined team efforts in the evolution of products from concept through testing, verification and approval

What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Leads design, development and analysis projects
Conceive, architect, design, and develop electrical and electromechanical systems for machine control, electrification, battery systems, alternative power systems, functionally safe systems, wire harnesses and diagnostics tools.
Design responsibilities also include product cost, timing, durability, safety, performance, manufacturability, and quality.
Develops specifications and appropriate documentation at a systems level.
Oversees the detail design of project teams, ensuring that technical requirements packages and other documentation are completed properly.
Responsible for the analysis, or oversight of the analysis, of proposed engineering designs using calculations, testing, data acquisition and processing, computer simulation methods or other techniques as needed.
Procures and coordinates the efforts of outside consultants, labs, suppliers, etc.
Works with Legal on potential patent activities and liability avoidance.
Develops products to meet regulatory requirements and works with those agencies to obtain approval.
Plans and executes engineering development:
Works with engineering management in developing product proposals to satisfy specific market requirements.
Helps to establish overall product specifications and features, design features, design objectives, schedules and budgets.
Understands the needs and expectations of L&C customers, and plans products and technologies that meet and exceed those needs and expectations.
Conducts feasibility studies to reveal idea practicality and potential design or program issues.
Assists the Test department in developing and following test plans.
Works with project leader or acts as project leader, coordinates engineering activity, assigns tasks and duties, empowers the team.
Informs and updates project team members, engineering management and directors on project status and plan as needed.
Works with Marketing, Sales, Management, Shop, Drafting, Test, Research, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Accounting as required by the project.
Supports current products, production and suppliers. Troubleshoots issues, approves solutions and deviations.
Works to identify emerging technologies and participates in long-range product planning initiatives.
Oversees, mentors, and reviews the work of others.
May have direct reports.
Some travel may be necessary to test sites, distributors, dealers, customers, suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and trade shows.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics program; or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics program from a university with an ABET accredited undergraduate engineering program.
Electrical Systems Engineer IV: 7+ years experience in consumer or industrial product development, having taken products through development and into production, demonstrated technical competency, engineering decision making and judgement.
Electrical Systems Engineer V: 10+ years experience in consumer or industrial product development, having taken products through development and into production, demonstrated high technical competency, strong engineering decision making and judgement, subject matter expertise, and oversight of other’s work.
Demonstrated high level of competency in product development, through production, of electrical, electronic, or electrified systems or products.
Demonstrated leadership abilities of product development teams.
Demonstrated experience in electrical system level design.
Demonstrated communication, collaboration and mentoring abilities.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot vehicle electrical systems using machine schematics, meters, oscilloscopes and data acquisition equipment.
Highly competent oral and written communication skills, in English.
Results-driven and action-oriented; self-motivated, positive and energetic.
Strong problem solving skills.
Strong process orientation and drive for continuous improvement.

Demonstrated capabilities as a technical leader in embedded electronics, firmware or FPGA development is a plus.

As a Field Technician - Energy & Carbon, you will be empowered to work across the country at various client sites to conduct assessments, inspections, and complete maintenance on client's energized assets. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance services on various electrical systems, including solar PV, EV charging stations and BESS.
Your Responsibilities:
* Perform inspections and maintenance activities on electrical, mechanical, and structural components of energy systems, including Solar PV, EV charging stations, and battery electric storage systems.
* Troubleshoot and identify root cause(s) of problems affecting the proper operation and performance of various hardware assets.
* Open live electrical equipment exposing energized connections for inspection.
* Respond to client concerns regarding the performance or functionality of their systems.

Your Role as an EMS Remote Technician
As a remote EMS Technician, you'll support, maintain, and troubleshoot Energy Management Systems from your home office, ensuring optimal performance for commercial clients. Your responsibilities include:
