Overview:

The Laboratory Manager is a leader and part of the provider care team who helps with diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patient conditions through the use of technical and scientific knowledge. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate, precise, and timely performance of laboratory tests. Laboratory managers are directly responsible for leading laboratory personnel and operations while assuring compliance and meeting all regulatory requirements consistent with the quality of a World Class Laboratory. Qualifications:

• Minimum Education : Associate's Degree 
• Experience: Three years hospital microbiology clinical laboratory experience and at least three years clinical lab leadership experience. 
• Required Certifications: ASCP or equivalent of a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician or appropriate categorical certification.

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgery Department Manager to join our organization. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Surgery Department.

Job Summary:

• Expediting surgery schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize delays
• Managing human resources to meet the needs of our patients and staff
• Investigating and resolving complaints from patients, visitors, staff, and physicians in a timely and professional manner

Registered Nurse Clinic Lead

As a Registered Nurse Clinic Lead, you will be responsible for providing administrative support duties including assisting with department process improvement, serving as a backup to the manager, maintaining supplies, coordinating schedules and meetings, and participating in training/in-services for clinical staff.

• Ensure daily operations of the clinic run efficiently and effectively.
• Keep the manager informed of any issues with patients, staff, or physicians that are beyond their comfort level or are questionable.
• Order departmental and medical supplies, ensuring the clinic has the necessary resources to operate smoothly.
• Be responsible for equipment maintenance/repair, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
• Monitor quality control standards, including immunization logs, waived testing, drug sample logs, equipment sterilization logs, etc.
• Resolve less complicated patient, staff, and physician issues, providing effective solutions to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Assist with evaluating associate performance and recommend merit increases (manager disciplines).
• Report to the manager any associate non-compliance with approved policies.
• Monitor associate work schedule and PTO requests – maintain appropriate staff coverage.
• Ensure NCHD referrals are appropriate.
• Assess departmental staffing needs; actively participate in resourcing efforts.
