We are looking for a dynamic and talented mining Haul Truck Drivers for our fast-growing, forward thinking mining services company headquartered in Bloomington, Indiana.
Turner Mining Group is seeking an energetic mining professionals who can leverage their mining knowledge to expand upon our fast-growing business, creating best practices for equipment operations to ensure profitable operations.

Responsibilities:

Operate and drive heavy haul trucks to transport tons of materials over short distances in a surface environment.

Perform inspections of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights, turn signals and brakes
-
Ensure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirements
-
Follow all safety policies, procedures and legislation
-
Maintain paper or electronic logbook
-
Communicate with Dispatcher and other Haul Truck Drivers using communication devices such as a two-ways radio or onboard computers

May drive special purpose vehicles, including end dump trucks, center dump truck units and water trucks

• Offer practical troubleshooting solutions and proactively address potential issues.
• Receive and ship data center equipment, ensuring timely handling and installation.
• Ensuring accurate recording keeping and inventory maintenance, including creating and maintaining tracking spreadsheets and/or databases and opening and updating tracking tickets.
Maintain Hosting Environment
• Perform daily walkthroughs of the facility, ensure the environment are maintained by the standards
• Monitoring pool information and communicating significant changes – identifying when issues are affecting the production environment.
• Respond to and escalate equipment alarms
• Perform routine server room clean-up.
• Perform inventory count for key parts - Ethernet patch cables, power cords, fans, PSUs, boards, PDUs, and other consumable components.
• Ensure all visitors to the facilities follow all health and safety regulations and protocols.
Other Responsibilities
• available for emergency on-call and shift work including midnights, weekends.
• Help create and/or provide feedback on Data Center procedures.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Possession of all appropriate licenses or permits to drive in your local area.
- Ability to lift and carry weights ranging from 30-40 pounds (weight of super hash server).
- Capability to walk long distances frequently within the data center.
- Tolerance for varying temperatures, including both cold and hot environments.
- Availability for rotational shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
Required Skills & Equipment:
- 1-3 years of experience in hardware troubleshooting, including PC, motherboard, network, PSU, and fans.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of routers, switches, and servers, familiarity with assembling PCs or upgrading hardware/firmware components.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to meet demanding time constraints.
- Ability to conduct and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work shifts and overnight.
- Experience in data center operations or fast-paced IT field is preferred

Travel: Occasional travel between data centers may be required
Overview
The Mining Technician I plays a key role in monitoring data center equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting the overall reliability of mining operations. This position is responsible for registering and tracking repair tickets, ensuring accurate updates, and assisting with troubleshooting, installation, and asset management. The role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in developing hands-on technical skills in a fast-paced data center environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report project status, issues, and constraints; update systems such as Minder and JIRA as needed.
- Proactively monitor production systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability, including remote support for other sites as required.
- Perform preventive maintenance on data center equipment.
- Rack, cable, and install hardware including miners, network switches, PDUs (with temperature/humidity sensors), servers, and network gear.
- Ensure proper installation and connection of power and network cables (copper, fiber, Cat5/Cat6).
- Create and maintain accurate data center hardware maps and asset management records.
- Provide intermediate-level troubleshooting for servers and network devices, escalating issues when necessary.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting, including diagnosing switch issues and verifying connectivity.
- Assist with electrical troubleshooting:
- Partner with Level I Technicians on diagnosing PDU issues and verifying connections.
- Partner with Level II Technicians to develop expertise in phase balancing of electrical systems.
- Support hardware Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes.
- Assist with deployment of new machines (unboxing, racking, setup).
- Maintain and update company databases to ensure accuracy.
- Foster open, respectful, and professional communication with team members and leaders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Basic troubleshooting ability and general computer knowledge required.
- Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely with tools and equipment.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with more senior technicians.
Work Environment
- Operates within a data center environment with exposure to both hot and cold conditions.
- Regular use of tools and equipment including laptops, smartphones, voltmeters, hash board testers, scissor lifts, forklifts, ladders, and hand tools.
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and manual tasks required.
