Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales efforts for Vibramech screening machines and Siebtechnik sampling systems across the United States and Canada. This role is responsible for driving order intake, building strategic customer relationships, and executing growth initiatives in alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase market share in key market segments (e.g., mining and metals).
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including through engineering firms, OEM partnerships, and end-user accounts.
Lead a team of up to 2 sales professionals in achieving annual order intake and revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and internal engineering teams.
Lead technical sales presentations and product demonstrations, translating complex specs into customer value.
Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform product development and positioning.
Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and client site visits to promote SIEBTECHNIK TEMA’s solutions.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, pipeline updates, and reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Process) or related experience, or 8+ years of relevant mining and metals experience in lieu of education is required; MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus.
5+ years of experience in industrial equipment sales, preferably in the mining industry, bulk material screening systems, or metals process machinery.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, process engineering, and industrial applications in the mining and metals industry.
Experience or working knowledge in ore (gold, copper, potash, coal, lithium, etc.) processing, particle sizing and classification, solid-liquid separation and sampling systems for quality control (highly preferred).
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Job Description
Established welder or mechanic, with a strong background in mining and aggregate equipment maintenance, willing to cross-train into our other trades. Able to conduct moderately complex tasks with limited supervision. Primary function of this position is working on and maintaining mineral processing equipment such as crushers, mills, and various plant work for our mineral processing customers. This individual must demonstrate a strong commitment to L&H values and safety processes. Out-of-town travel is required. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair cone, gyratory, and jaw crushers, as well as ball, rod, and SAG mills, including bearings, shafts, hydraulics, and structural components. You will perform welding and structural repairs on processing equipment, including frame rebuilds, liner replacements, and hard facing wear components. Out of town travel is required.

- At least 5 years of experience as a millwright, field mechanic, or heavy equipment technician in mining, aggregates, or heavy industry.
- Hands-on experience with cone, gyratory, and jaw crushers, as well as ball, rod, and SAG mills and their hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in stick, MIG, and arc welding with experience in hard facing, mill shell repair, and structural welding.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals; experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computerized maintenance systems.
- Familiarity with gear-driven applications, including mill drive systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative in the field.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to mine and quarry sites as needed.
Responsibilities-
- Crusher & Mill Maintenance & Repair – Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair cone, gyratory, and jaw crushers, as well as ball, rod, and SAG mills, including bearings, shafts, hydraulics, and structural components.
- Welding & Fabrication – Perform welding and structural repairs on processing equipment, including frame rebuilds, liner replacements, and hard facing wear components.
- Field Service & Customer Support – Work directly at mine and quarry sites to maintain and repair equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Component Rebuilds – Overhaul crusher assemblies, mill components, and critical drive systems such as gearboxes, eccentric shafts, bushings, and tramp release systems.
- Technical Reporting – Document service work, create maintenance reports, and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
- Safety & Compliance – Follow all safety protocols, industry regulations, and customer site requirements.

- OSHA safety training
- MSHA surface training
- Strong welding or mechanical background in mineral processing
- Technical degree in applicable trade
- CDL driver’s license
- Qualifications in other trades we work in
