Pediatric Surgical Unit. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. This position involves ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients throughout the perioperative process. Additionally, the RN will be responsible for managing tracheostomy (trach) care with ventilator support and addressing other respiratory conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in patient assessment, medication administration, post-operative care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest standard of care to our pediatric patients.

- All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member and initial on-boarding requirements are validated through successful completion of the designated organizational entry competency validation and a MedSurg specific competency validation.
- All newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency program or other specific orientation. Skills completion and competency completion will be achieved with the preceptor at the bedside and documented through the program’s tracking software.
