NP Family Med/Primary Care Need : Columbus, Indiana
Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Nurse Practitioner in Family Med/Primary Care. The role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Nurse Practitioner Role:
- Comfortable seeing ages 2 and up
- Comfortable with well woman exams, minor procedures.
- Average patient load is 16-18/day.
- Full primary care center (acute and chronic care).
Schedule:
Temporary role - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Monday, Thursday, Friday - 7am - 6pm and Tuesday 8am - 7pm.
Saturday rotation every 8 weeks 8am - 12pm.
Possible Temp to Perm . Tuesday - Friday -
Shifts Tuesday - Thursday - 7am - 6pm and Friday - 8am - 7pm.
Saturday rotation every 8 weeks - 8am - 12pm.
Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- IN state license; active, unrestricted
- Board certified
- BLS/ACLS

The NP/PA will receive thorough training and orientation before beginning to work autonomously.
They will see an average of 20 to 25 patients per day, with all visits prepped by a clinical assistant.
All services are within the scope of family practice - this is an all-ages position. The clinic sees: walk-in cases, routine primary care visits, chronic disease management, annual wellness visits, and more. They are a non-narcotic and non-procedural clinic. The main goal of the organization is to meet the essential healthcare needs of as many area residents as possible each day.
