Product Developers at SharkNinja assist in owning the entire New Product Development (NPD) process from concept to shelf for our Shark and Ninja Brands. The Executive Assistant is an administrative business partner to the Product Development Team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be a trusted business partner to SVP level leaders and their VP teams.
- Serve as a liaison to others, both within and outside the department and/or company.
- Point of contact for any visiting associates from our global locations. Assist with travel, meeting arrangement, catering, product samples, room needs, etc.
- Point of contact for vendor visits, assist with their needs, meetings, catering, product samples, room needs.
- Time management: Manage multiple, complex and hectic day to day calendars with competing priorities ensuring the executives time and focus is on critical product and strategic matters. Be flexible as we are asked to handle urgent scheduling requests for the business almost daily.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Assistant team to synchronize and schedule executive-level priority meetings, product executive debriefs and reviews, team and cross-functional project meetings. Maintain and re-balance cadence of all meetings.
- Carry out special projects and assignments from coordination and planning to execution.
- Prepare/manage the following: Concur expense report review and approval, presentations, announcements, team requests, Coupa PO creation/completion.
- Travel management: Recognize the importance of accuracy when planning and arranging domestic and international travel. This includes travel visas, car service arrangements, hotel accommodations, meal/restaurant reservations, meeting logistics/agenda preparations as well as working with our global team to make any arrangements needed when they arrive. Execute changes along the way ie: flight changes, cancelations etc.
- Order lunches through caterers/local vendors and plan other meeting details.
- Assist HR, Facilities and IT with new hire requests and seating plans.
- Assist with office organization.
- Be cognizant of hours for our overseas locations with regards to planning/coordination/requests.
- Be available after hours and for last minute requests.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of Executive Assistant work experience.
- Must be self-confident, diplomatic, and able to anticipate/handle unexpected situations. Comfortable with deadline pressures, managing multiple demands for critical deliverables and not afraid to interrupt meetings to get time sensitive information or keep Executives on track.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy/integrity of data required.
- Must be able to set priorities and juggle several tasks within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with a positive attitude.
- A highly motivated and self-directed individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications; specifically PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Able to anticipate and/or identify and resolve problems in a timely manner including on nights and weekends.
- Excellent judgement and ability to handle confidential and delicate matters.
- Able to work in a team environment, and occasionally work a flexible schedule.

The Product Development organization within SharkNinja drives our global product roadmap from concept to shelf through the constant lens of the consumer. We are the “product CEOs” and partner cross-functionally with almost every other team within the company to drive high satisfaction for our end user and to drive business results. Responsibilities:
- Support the Ninja business onsite in our Needham, MA headquarters with the development of successful and profitable programs for key products to ensure continued growth of the product portfolio – you will lead new product development (creation and management) of assigned product(s) from brainstorm phase through mass production, as well as partner with leadership to define the over-arching category direction to a team of product developers. You are responsible AND accountable for progressing, reporting on, and actioning your and your team’s deliverables.
- Lead, manage, and grow team members within the organization – providing guidance on their assigned projects, ensuring product success, supporting professional advancement within their role and within SharkNinja, and holding them accountable to their specific job responsibilities. You will be viewed as a manager who has proficiency in navigating people, conflict, and resource management.
- Define and develop product specifications, marrying consumer wants/needs, white space in the market, and new/flagship product technologies as the primary consumer advocate.
- Develop user-relevant design targets for product performance and user experience – and act as the beacon of these targets to the cross-functional team of engineers, industrial designers, and commercial marketers.
- Partner with SharkNinja’s Insights & Intelligence team to develop consumer testing objectives and implement this consumer-driven feedback into product specifications and design iterations throughout the project development cycle.
- Partner with SharkNinja’s testing and quality organizations to define, develop and manage quality and performance testing procedures.
- Manage product cost structure, reporting, and cost rationalization exercises – and collaborate with supply chain, merchandising, and supply planning teams on product sourcing strategy recommendations.
- Provide direction and oversight into the creation and execution of go-to-market collateral to support product launch, including instructional material and consumer-facing product specification information.
- Provide direction and oversight into the development of product troubleshooting and “FAQs” to support a 5-star consumer experience post-purchase.
- Act as the product and/or category “expert” for cross-functional team member questions and concerns.
- Be called upon to take leadership of larger cross-functional “breakthroughs” that increase executive visibility and accelerate career growth.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or a related field, preferably at a consumer goods company.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering or a combination of the above
- Prior experience hiring, managing, leading, and goal setting with team members.
- A “100% on” consumer-first perspective when it comes to introducing new products/processes or improving current products.
- Ability to effectively “manage up” by communicating your top priorities and constantly seeking feedback on your and your team’s work.
- A mindset geared toward building relationships across multi-functional teams, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly-effective communication skills – both written (presentation/email) and in-person (ability to host succinct, effective conversations that solve problems and ability to make effective presentations to all levels of management, including SharkNinja’s executive leadership team)
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
Lab automation & data generation
Your goal will be to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge automated systems, robotics, instrumentation, and digital workflows that significantly enhance the productivity and efficiency of our labs
You will be responsible for programming and developing automated laboratory systems. This includes supporting software development and deployment to automate workflows, integrating analytical instruments with laboratory software, and ensuring seamless communication between instruments and Sanofi's internal data management services.
Mechanistic & data-driven model building
As part of matrix project teams, build mechanistic, hybrid, and data-driven modeling solutions to support small molecule process development.
Collaborate with process development teams to integrate crystallization modeling into the overall process design and optimization workflow.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled and pursuing master's degree or Phd in chemical engineering or a related field in advanced modeling or automation such mathematics or physics
Experience in writing and optimizing scripts in programming languages such as Python/Matlab/C#/Visual Basic.
Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship
Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi
Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in designing and implementing automated laboratory processes from the initial concept through to full deployment.
Demonstrated ability to translate mathematical models into computer programs.
An ability to work as part of a team, engaging other scientists with complementary skill sets in the field of pharmaceutical development.
