Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston, Needham, MA and Metro Park, NJ.
Responsibilities
Our growth has created an immediate need for a Construction QA/QC Professional to assist in implementing, coordinating, training, and administering the LiRo Quality Management System (QMS) across all Business Units (which includes 1,000+ staff in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental, MEP, Resident Engineering Inspection, and Virtual Design services). This position will be based in either our Syosset, Long Island or lower Manhattan office and will spend 50-60% of the time at field construction sites located throughout New York City.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Project Quality Programs based on client contracts and specifications.
- Provide quality support, oversight, and direction to ensure effective implementation of quality activities of active corporate projects.
- Monitor and audit Critical Projects to ensure compliance with LiRo’s QMS and Project Procedure Manuals.
- Maintain LiRo’s QMS by developing/revising LiRo standards and supporting the continuous improvement cycle.
- Lead field staff in the preparation of project, quality, and safety manuals that support the Corporate QMS.
- Provide the necessary field training to support these goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in project management and/or the construction industry.
- 2+ years’ experience.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technology program required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency
- Quality Certification preferred

What Will You Do?

Leads design, development and analysis projects
Conceive, architect, design, and develop electrical and electromechanical systems for machine control, electrification, battery systems, alternative power systems, functionally safe systems, wire harnesses and diagnostics tools.

What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics program; or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics program from a university with an ABET accredited undergraduate engineering program.
Electrical Systems Engineer IV: 7+ years experience in consumer or industrial product development, having taken products through development and into production, demonstrated technical competency, engineering decision making and judgement.
Electrical Systems Engineer V: 10+ years experience in consumer or industrial product development, having taken products through development and into production, demonstrated high technical competency, strong engineering decision making and judgement, subject matter expertise, and oversight of other’s work.
Demonstrated high level of competency in product development, through production, of electrical, electronic, or electrified systems or products.
Demonstrated leadership abilities of product development teams.
Demonstrated experience in electrical system level design.

You Have:
* 4+ years of experience with engineering and systems architectures for DoD systems, including design, development, and integration throughout the systems engineering process and systems development lifecycle
* Experience with capability analysis, requirements definition and management, system test and integration, writing technical documentation, and creating design artifacts
* Experience engineering solutions for Navy Tactical Networks
* Secret clearance
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Mathematics, or Physical Science
* CCNA, ASEP, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certification
Nice If You Have:
* Experience with Network Automation in Python, Ansible, NETCONF, or RESTCONF
* Experience modeling network configuration in JSON, YAML, or YANG
