The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for Installation and Removal of the tools.
This position reports to the Sr. Supervisor Manufacturing Engineer Processing and is part of the Manufacturing Engineer Department located in Lodi CA and will be an on-site role. The schedule for this role is going to be 6am-2:30pm with a rotating schedule.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lifts and installs specified molds into molding machines. Clamps molds in position and finalizes Mold Installation following Work Instructions and the use of basic industrial equipment.
- Understand and apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), demonstrating comprehension through both verbal and written communication.
- Connects hoses and sets valves to regulate the flow of water circulating through the mold to control the temperature of the molds. Inspects hoses for wear and replacements as needed. Removes molds from molding machines when run is completed for proper PM.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- High school degree (or equivalent experience) with 1-2 years of related work experience or AA or Technical Trade degree with 0-1 years of work experience.
- Proper use of basic hand tools
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- The ability to lift 50 lbs.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Crane Training Operations.
- Experience with injection molding
- Basic Industrial equipment set-up procedure
