Position Overview

The Construction Project Manager will oversee all aspects of retail, restaurant, and commercial construction projects,  from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple concurrent projects, coordinate with field teams and vendors, and maintain strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong experience managing timelines, budgets, and subcontractor performance within the retail construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple retail, restaurant, and commercial construction projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
  • Oversee all phases of project management — from pre-construction planning and design coordination to site execution and closeout.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to maintain project flow and resolve issues quickly.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts; monitor and report progress against established KPIs.
  • Review drawings, scopes of work, and proposals to ensure accuracy and cost control.
  • Manage procurement, bidding, and contracting processes for assigned projects.
  • Conduct site visits across Los Angeles and surrounding regions to monitor project progress and field execution.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing status updates and ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Support the Director of Projects in improving operational systems, processes, and standards across the department.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience — retail, restaurant, or commercial construction required.
  • Proven track record managing multiple large-scale projects with budgets up to $2M+.
  • Pr ficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, scopes, contracts, and budgeting principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with a collaborative, hands-on work style.
  • Ability to manage and motivate field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).

Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their corporate office in Corona, CA . This is a 100% in-office , Monday–Friday role with a long-established, stable construction company. The position is open due to growth, we are actively seeking strong temp-to-hire candidates.


? Pay Range: $26–$28/hr.
? Key Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly multi-state, in-house payroll in compliance with federal and state regulations

  • Handle union and certified payroll , including prevailing wage compliance

  • Manage garnishments, off-cycle payrolls, direct deposits, and PTO processing

  • Assist with audits , GL reconciliations , and Certified Payroll reporting

  • Coordinate payroll activity across multiple job sites

  • Work closely with Accounting and HR teams

  • Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy at all times


? What We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ years of in-house payroll experience (construction industry preferred)

  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)

  • Familiarity with union payroll , certified payroll , and prevailing wage
