Full Job Description

American Airlines is seeking a highly experienced and customer-focused Lead Flight Attendant to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This key role will involve managing a team of flight attendants, ensuring passenger safety and comfort, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the aviation industry and a proven ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and grace.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of flight attendants, ensuring smooth and efficient cabin service.
  • Ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight, following all safety procedures and regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing passenger needs and resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage cabin service, including meal service, beverage service, and in-flight entertainment.
  • Enforce safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cabin environment.
  • Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively, following established procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with pilots, ground crew, and other airline personnel.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience as a flight attendant.
  • Extensive knowledge of aviation safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle challenging situations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Current FAA medical certificate.
