Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex petroleum engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize oil and gas production, enhance reservoir management, and reduce operational costs.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering their professional development.
- Analyze reservoir data, interpret geological information, and develop reservoir simulation models to predict future production performance.
- Conduct well testing and analysis, evaluating reservoir properties and optimizing well completion strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, geophysicists, and drilling engineers, to ensure project success.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into project designs and operations.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals for senior management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record of success in managing complex projects.
- Strong understanding of reservoir simulation, well testing, and production optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Petrel, Eclipse, and CMG.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
