EY, a global leader in professional services, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in New York City. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting our consulting projects by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets. This is a full-time, hybrid position offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect and cleanse data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Create reports and presentations summarizing data findings for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts and consultants to support project deliverables.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data analysis methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest data analysis techniques and technologies.
  • Contribute to the improvement of data management processes and procedures.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • 0-2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with statistical software packages (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
