Full Job Description

Tesla is hiring Manufacturing Production Associates for our facility near Charlotte, North Carolina.

Join the Tesla team and help build the future of sustainable energy and transportation. As a Manufacturing Production Associate, you will be involved in the assembly and production process of Tesla vehicles and energy products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform assembly tasks on production lines according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate manufacturing equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect components and finished products for quality defects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor.
  • Assist in troubleshooting production problems.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
  • Maintain accurate production records as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.
  • Adhere to production schedules and deadlines.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends) as needed.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Prior experience in the automotive or electronics manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
