  • Prepare technical reports and presentations.
  • Mentor junior engineers or technicians.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and best practices in chemical engineering.
  • Evaluate potential risks associated with process changes.
  • Develop cost estimates for process improvement projects.
  • Contribute to the site's operational excellence programs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD).
  • Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and reaction kinetics.
  • Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specification.
  • Understanding of process control principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience with process safety management (PSM) is highly desirable.
