Full Job Description

Deloitte is seeking a skilled IT Consultant to join our consulting practice, based out of Seattle, Washington. This role is focused on advising clients on technology strategies, implementations, and digital transformation.

As an IT Consultant at Deloitte, you will work with clients across various industries to understand their business challenges and propose technology solutions. You will assess current IT systems, recommend improvements, manage project tasks, and support the implementation of new technologies, helping clients achieve their strategic goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients to understand their business needs and technology challenges.
  • Analyze current IT infrastructure, systems, and processes.
  • Develop and propose technology strategies and solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients.
  • Present findings and solutions to client stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Support the implementation of recommended technology solutions.
  • Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal Deloitte teams and external partners.
  • Conduct market research on technology trends and vendors.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to proposal development.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of analysis and deliverables.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with client teams.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Develop technical documentation and training materials.
  • Travel to client sites as required.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise.
  • Work effectively as part of a consulting team.
  • Contribute to the development of Deloitte's consulting methodologies and assets.
  • Analyze technical feasibility and potential ROI of proposed solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT consulting or relevant technology roles.
  • Proven experience analyzing IT systems and processes.
  • Strong understanding of various technology domains (e.g., cloud computing, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, data analytics).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to develop clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Experience managing project tasks and working with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently.
  • Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
