Full Job Description

Accenture is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team, based remotely but supporting initiatives in the San Antonio, Texas area. As an SDR, you will be a key player in generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying leads for our sales organization. You will use various communication channels to engage potential clients and articulate the value of Accenture's services.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify potential leads and target accounts within specific industries or segments.
  • Use cold calling, email, social media, and other methods to reach out to prospects.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria (e.g., budget, authority, need, timeline).
  • Effectively communicate Accenture's value proposition and solutions to prospects.
  • Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and marketing teams.
  • Stay informed about Accenture's offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualified meetings.
  • Participate in sales training and coaching sessions.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness to marketing.
  • Develop and refine outreach scripts and messaging.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a similar role, preferably in the technology or consulting industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong phone presence and ability to engage prospects effectively.
  • Ability to research and understand target markets and client needs.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience with sales engagement platforms (e.g., SalesLoft, Outreach) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise technology solutions is a plus.
