Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients.
- Conduct in-depth financial needs assessments to understand client goals, risk tolerance, and financial situation.
- Develop comprehensive financial plans covering investments, retirement planning, estate planning, and risk management.
- Provide investment advice and recommend suitable investment strategies and products.
- Manage client investment portfolios, monitoring performance and making adjustments as needed.
- Educate clients on financial concepts and market dynamics.
- Acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and business development activities.
- Collaborate with internal specialists (e.g., tax, estate planning) to provide integrated advice.
- Prepare and present financial plans and investment proposals to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and firm policies.
- Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and changes in tax and estate laws.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Meet and exceed individual sales and asset gathering targets.
- Provide exceptional ongoing service and support to clients.
- Participate in professional development and continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in financial advising, wealth management, or a related client-facing role.
- Proven track record of building and managing client relationships.
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial planning concepts, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with affluent clients.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a client book effectively.
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) licenses required.
- Additional certifications such as CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
- Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.
