Position Overview:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within the Philadelphia market, primarily focusing on the food service and retail sectors. This role involves prospecting, engaging potential clients through various channels, and scheduling meetings for the sales team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, has excellent communication skills, and is eager to build a career in sales within the consumer goods industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify potential new customers (e.g., restaurants, cafes, convenience stores).
  • Outreach to prospects via phone, email, and social media to introduce Coca-Cola's product portfolio and services.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria and customer needs.
  • Schedule meetings and product presentations for Account Managers.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Use CRM software to track all sales activities and prospect interactions.
  • Understand customer needs and articulate the value proposition of Coca-Cola products.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitive activities in the beverage industry.
  • Participate in sales training and coaching sessions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, or a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to make persuasive cold calls and handle objections.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the Philadelphia market is beneficial.
  • Interest in the beverage or consumer goods industry.
