Full Job Description

Amazon is hiring Customer Service Associates for our Amazon Fresh operations in Houston, Texas. As a Customer Service Associate, you will provide support to customers regarding their Amazon Fresh orders, deliveries, and issues. You will handle inquiries via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for customers shopping for groceries.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding Amazon Fresh orders, delivery status, product availability, billing, and returns.
  • Communicate effectively with customers through multiple channels (phone, email, chat).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints and issues related to their grocery shopping experience.
  • Process refunds, returns, and order modifications.
  • Escalate complex issues to specialized teams or supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions in the CRM system.
  • Educate customers on how to use the Amazon Fresh service and features.
  • Work collaboratively with operations teams to resolve delivery or product issues.
  • Adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to Amazon Fresh policies, features, and services.
  • Handle sensitive customer information with confidentiality.
  • Suggest improvements to support processes.
  • Assist with training new associates as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience (1+ years) in customer service, retail, or a call center environment is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong active listening skills and ability to empathize with customers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience with online grocery services is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain composure in challenging customer interactions.
