Full Job Description

American Express is seeking a skilled Marketing Analyst with expertise in Digital Campaigns to join our team in Los Angeles, California. You will be responsible for analyzing the performance of digital marketing initiatives, providing insights, and making recommendations to optimize campaign effectiveness across various channels. This role requires a strong analytical mind and a passion for digital marketing.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns across channels (e.g., search, social, email, display).
  • Track key marketing metrics (KPIs) and provide regular reports on campaign performance.
  • Use analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to gather and interpret data.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize campaign elements.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve campaign targeting, messaging, and performance.
  • Segment customer data to support personalized marketing efforts.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity in the digital space.
  • Collaborate with marketing managers, creative teams, and data scientists.
  • Assist in setting up tracking and reporting for new campaigns.
  • Forecast campaign performance based on historical data and market trends.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting tools.
  • Present findings and recommendations to marketing stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the overall digital marketing strategy.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on digital channels.
  • Proficiency in web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Understanding of digital marketing concepts and channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Email Marketing).
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required. Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages is beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
