Job Summary:
Yum! Brands, one of the world's largest restaurant companies, is seeking an experienced District Manager to oversee multiple restaurant locations (e.g., Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut) in the San Francisco, California area. As a District Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operational excellence, financial performance, and talent development within your assigned district. You will lead and coach restaurant managers, ensure compliance with brand standards, drive sales growth, and deliver exceptional customer experiences across all locations. This role requires strong multi-unit leadership experience, business acumen, and a passion for the restaurant industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee operations and performance for multiple restaurant locations within the district.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Restaurant Managers.
  • Ensure all restaurants meet operational standards, including food safety, cleanliness, and quality.
  • Analyze financial performance for each restaurant and the district, implementing strategies to improve profitability.
  • Drive sales growth and customer satisfaction initiatives across the district.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and labor laws.
  • Conduct regular visits to restaurants to assess performance, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage district budget and control expenses.
  • Identify and develop talent within the district, including succession planning.
  • Handle complex customer complaints or issues escalated from restaurants.
  • Implement marketing and promotional programs effectively.
  • Ensure a consistent and positive brand experience for customers.
  • Collaborate with corporate support teams (e.g., marketing, HR, supply chain).
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
  • Ensure all locations maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of multi-unit management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple locations and achieving business results.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financials, and profitability drivers.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coach and develop managers and teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned district frequently.
  • Proficiency in restaurant POS and reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify key trends.
