You will gain valuable experience in audit, tax, or advisory services within a leading global professional services firm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior staff and managers with various accounting tasks for clients.
- Participate in audit engagements, including testing controls and performing substantive procedures.
- Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, or partnerships.
- Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Perform account reconciliations and verify transactions.
- Gather and organize financial data provided by clients.
- Utilize accounting software and internal tools efficiently.
- Document work performed accurately and thoroughly.
- Learn and apply accounting principles (GAAP) and auditing standards (GAAS).
- Communicate with client personnel to gather information and clarify details.
- Identify potential issues and report them to senior team members.
- Assist with research on technical accounting or tax matters.
- Participate in internal and external training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures.
- Support multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Prepare working papers and documentation to support conclusions.
- Assist with process improvements for accounting procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Develop a basic understanding of client businesses and industries.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and deliverables for clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the accounting team.

- Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations.
- Participate in firm initiatives and activities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting (internships in public accounting are a strong plus).
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
