Morgan Stanley is seeking a motivated Associate Financial Advisor to join our team in Dallas, Texas.

As an Associate Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley , you will work closely with Senior Financial Advisors to support clients in achieving their financial goals. You will assist with client relationship management, prepare financial plans, conduct research, and support business development activities. This role is designed for individuals looking to build a career in financial advising and provides a pathway to becoming a lead advisor within a leading global financial services firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Senior Financial Advisors in managing client relationships and servicing client needs.
  • Gather client financial information and input data into financial planning software.
  • Prepare financial plans, investment proposals, and client presentations.
  • Conduct research on investments, markets, and financial planning strategies.
  • Handle client service inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Process client transactions and account maintenance requests.
  • Assist with prospecting and business development activities.
  • Learn and understand Morgan Stanley's products and services (investments, banking, lending, insurance).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
  • Attend client meetings and assist in discussions.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
  • Stay updated on financial markets, economic news, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists (e.g., estate planning, retirement planning).
  • Prepare reports on client portfolios and performance.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials and client communications.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a client-facing or support role.
  • Strong understanding of investment products (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs) and financial planning concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with financial planning software and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Required licenses: FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65) or ability to obtain them within a specified timeframe.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support client needs.
