- Proactively pitch stories to generate positive media coverage.
- Oversee the creation of press releases, corporate announcements, speeches, and executive communications.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all corporate communication materials.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align messaging across platforms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, league officials, and community leaders.
- Represent D.C. United and Audi Field in key meetings, public events, and industry conferences.
- Lead crisis communication planning and response efforts.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage reputation risks and navigate sensitive issues.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably in professional sports, entertainment, or a related industry.
- Proven experience developing and executing successful communication strategies.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong media relations background and existing network of media contacts.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Experience with crisis communication and reputation management.
- Familiarity with the sports and entertainment landscape in Washington, D.C., is a plus.
COMPENSATION
- Based upon qualifications and experience with an anticipated range of $80,000 - $90,000 Annually.

Job Overview
The Corporate Communications Director is responsible for the strategy, development and execution of communications programs to raise awareness of Kardigan as a leader in cardiovascular medicine and its emerging pipeline. This includes leading media relations to generate accurate and comprehensive news coverage and internal communications to engage, connect and “re-recruit” employees as our business, company and impact grows.
The Director will deeply understand our science, business strategy and industry dynamics to develop plans for growth, influence cross functional peers and provide input on broad decisions/strategies outside of their function. The position reports to the chief communications officer and will work cross-functionally with our Investor Relations, Development, Medical, BD and HR teams to deliver compelling and consistent messaging across all communications channels and company stakeholders.
This Corporate Communications Director role can be based in either Princeton, NJ or South San Francisco, CA, and reports to the Chief Communications Officer in South San Francisco.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Media/Product Communications
As Kardigan prepares to introduce its pipeline, you will set and lead the company’s media strategy, leveraging medical meetings, data publications, research developments and competitor/relevant health news to generate consistent and positive media coverage of clinical and business milestones. Utilize creative angles and innovative strategies to generate non-hard news coverage.
Write, edit and secure approvals for all media and clinical communications materials including press releases, messages, Q&As, backgrounders and video scripts. Develop communications strategies, scenario plans, messages and Q&A to mitigate negative impact of issues internally and externally, as they arise.
Lead regular cross functional interactions with Global Product Teams (GPTs), Commercial, Medical, Patient Advocacy and IR colleagues to maximize synergistic projects and ensure message alignment across communications to respective audiences.
Participate in medical meeting planning teams and preconference programs to lead the development and rollout of the “Kardigan story” at those forums.
Establish/cultivate relationships with physician spokespeople and their PR departments to maximize third party inclusion and credibility of media materials and stories.
Support senior leaders with communication strategy, public speaking, and media interactions.
Serve as Communications point person with BD-partnered companies to develop strategy and execution for disclosing and promoting program developments and milestones, working closely with relevant stakeholders at both companies.
Internal Communications
Establish and lead Kardigan’s internal communications function to connect employees to our mission, business objectives, culture and values in a meaningful way. Oversee the development and distribution of employee communications content, campaigns and events.
Partner with HR to pull through corporate brand and mission in recruitment, on-boarding and retention programs, positioning Kardigan as a leading and sought-after place to work.
Participate in and provide communications support to Kardigan’s culture team.
Collaborate with IT to identify the appropriate resources, platforms and tools to consistently reach and connect employees across company sites.
Serve as a communications liaison with marketing team at Prolaio, an AI clinical intelligence company recently acquired by Kardigan.
Leadership and Collaboration
Trusted to represent Kardigan in media interviews, stories and events and will often have access to confidential information.
Manage and mentor external Communications and Branding agencies to consistently execute and measure the impact of creative and effective communications content, programs and tools. Set stretch goals that translate into actionable plans and tangible results.
Exercise excellent judgment, integrity, and transparency in making decisions that are in the best interest of the Company, our stakeholders and most importantly the patients we serve.
Educate, influence and successfully collaborate with cross functional teams, company management, department colleagues and external partners toward a shared vision and common goal; comfort with reaching compromise and managing conflict.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, Communications & Engagement, the Advisor, Corporate Communications is a strategic communicator and internal engagement expert responsible for developing and delivering communications that reflect Trimac’s culture, values, and leadership voice. This role leads internal campaigns, crafts high-quality content across formats, and ensures communications resonate clearly and consistently across all levels of the organization. The Advisor plays a critical role in shaping employee understanding, engagement, and alignment with company initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of internal communication campaigns such as corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, DIEB programming, and employee recognition.
- Support change communication efforts for HR-led programs and enterprise-wide initiatives by aligning messaging to business priorities and strategic objectives.
- Write and edit internal content including executive messages, intranet stories, toolkits, scripts, and targeted employee updates.
- Create visuals using tools such as Canva or Adobe Express and produce simple videos to support internal storytelling and leadership messaging.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, visual identity, and accessibility standards.
- Review, revise, and provide guidance on content from internal business partners to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Maintain internal communication standards including tone-of-voice guidelines and branded templates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across People & Culture, Operations, and Corporate to understand communication needs and recommend tailored approaches.
- Translate complex or sensitive topics into clear, employee-friendly messaging.
- Publish content using internal communication tools including SharePoint, intranet CMS, and Viva Engage.
- Use platform features and automation tools to optimize delivery and reach.
- Optimize intranet content and internal articles for search visibility and discoverability using metadata and SEO best practices.
- Monitor content performance through analytics and stakeholder feedback, recommending improvements to enhance communication effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in internal or corporate communications.
- Proven experience leading employee communication campaigns and supporting change initiatives.
- Familiarity with engagement measurement tools and communication performance metrics is an asset.
- French language proficiency is considered an asset.

The Corporate Communications Manager, reporting to Sr. Manager, Corporate Communications, will play an important role in managing key initiatives and operations for the Corporate Communications team. This role will help drive strategies and processes for programs across Executive Comms, Awards, Speaking, Enterprise Communications approvals, and Media analysis, aligned to business priorities. This role will also work across the Corporate Communications team to drive PR initiatives, secure high-impact media coverage, support earnings and drive storytelling in the interactive entertainment space.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

About the role
The Associate Director Corporate Communications is responsible for crafting and amplifying Zevra’s
value proposition through developing a compelling narrative, leveraging cross-channel platforms to
drive the corporate brand and deliver impactful content with a call to action. This role serves as a
strategic liaison between human resources, brand, publication and congress planning. Ensure
scientific consistency and core message alignment across all platforms and audiences to shape the
narrative to key press releases, ensuring scientific consistency across multiple communication
platforms.
In addition to developing high-impact external-focused content, the position plays a key role in
commercial brands, quarterly earnings and regulatory submissions. The Associate Director Corporate
Communicaiton develops a corporate calendar, ensures all materials and resources align with core
messaging and meets appropriate clearance for public disclosure coordinated closely with legal. This
role provides consistent and aligned messaging that builds trust with both external audiences and
employees.
Reporting to the VP, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications this individual serves as a
regulatory and executive leadership to ensure messages are accurate timely and aligned with
business and department goals. This position does not currently have direct reports but is expected
to lead certain cross-functional internal efforts and manage external-facing projects with a high
degree of independence.
What you'll do
Primary Responsibilities:
External Communications Media & Public Relations
- Evaluate media outreach plans and make recommendations that elevate the brand in industry and general media
- Draft and edit press releases, executive statements, internal communication, media roadmap, media toolkits, assist with preparing leadership for interviews and speaking engagements.
- Maintain a proactive media and IR calendar to monitor news cycles for timely opportunities and track PR performance metrics such as impressions sentiment and engagement.
- Manage applicable agency relations as assigned.
Reputation & Crisis Communications
This position works closely alongside the VP, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications,
human resources and legal on the implementation of the Reputation Management strategy
including creating review responses, executive messaging and issue escalation workflows/ process
improvement.
- Partner with Legal, HR, and senior leadership to manage and draft responses for sensitive topics or crises across platforms including BBB Glassdoor and Indeed.
- Track and report on reputation trends and performance collaborate with digital and social teams to ensure consistent messaging.
- Create and manage the communication plans and SOPs for IR/Corp Comm.
Cross-Functional & Digital Alignment
- Collaborate on social media to ensure consistency across earned owned and paid media channels.
- Create or guide the development of content including award announcements, thought leadership pieces, corporate deck and one-pagers that support business goals.
- Support external-facing communication campaigns tied to events initiatives or company milestones.
Event & Campaign Communications
