Our client is a private equity sponsored software technology firm that is quickly being recognized as a market leader within a mandated service sector. The business is achieving profitable growth and is seeking a strategic CFO to partner with the senior leadership team to drive finance, strategy and operational functions for the business.
We are seeking a commercially oriented Chief Financial Officer with demonstrated success and P&L leadership experience in a middle market software technology enterprise. Fundamental to the mandate is to drive strategic initiatives and oversee project management with oversight of all operations and financial management including banking/investor relationships. This individual will play a critical role driving strategic growth and overseeing all operations in direct partnership with the investors. Ideally, they will have experience in the Fintech, Healthtech or SaaS platform space, and have taken a company through transformational change.

Job DescriptionOur Senior Financial Analyst, Information Technology role is key to the organization’s IT cost transparency initiatives, designed to position IT stakeholders with the knowledge to manage and communicate the cost, quality and value of IT services.
This experienced Financial Analyst will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT financial planning and analysis processes across the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Regularly organize and analyze all IT spend, ensuring correct categorization and attribution of data
Create operational and financial models, dashboards, management reports, and communication materials for IT and corporate executives and end users
Lead data collection, transformation, and analysis for both forecasting and historical trend reporting; execute the collection of data from stakeholders in a timely manner
Provide expertise to help manage and improve organizational IT cost transparency and IT planning
Participate in collaborative efforts with domain leads, service lines, and programs / projects to drive improved communication and shared direction
Work with program/project leaders and cost center owners to secure forecasts and review incurred expenses
Support vendor selection, RFP cost and quality analysis, and ongoing vendor performance metrics
Collect and maintain vendor contracts and other related artifacts; review to ensure standards, tracking termination / renewal dates and collaborating with contract owners on financial impacts
Participate in establishing financial performance metrics, practices, templates, and policies to expand and mature these capabilities for the IT organization
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a Financial Analyst role (technology or corporate)
Strong knowledge of operational financial management processes and best practices such as: forecasts/budgeting, cost allocations, project capital and operating expense forecasting and reporting
Strong financial acumen and data analytic skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in providing financial reports and analysis
Experience formulating conclusions and providing summary analysis and interpretation for leadership
Basic understanding of information technology components, purchasing, and vendor selection
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

As a Senior Manager in our Technology practice, you will play a pivotal role in interacting with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models, processes, and operations. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure that newly implemented technology solutions meet these requirements. As a Senior Manager in our SAP Financial Services practice, you will lead a multi-discipline team through an SAP implementation cycle. You will play a critical role in delivering SAP systems and business integration, advising client leadership, and ensuring cohesive, comprehensive solutions are delivered on time and within budget. You will also work with EY leadership to identify and develop new implementation opportunities while mentoring junior team members.

Leading the end-to-end delivery of large-scale SAP-enabled Finance Transformation programs.
Developing execution strategies aligned with client objectives and project deliverables.
Managing risks and project team capacity to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
Assisting Finance teams in reimagining their target state through modern technology capabilities.
Shaping Finance operating models and introducing advanced digital finance capabilities, focusing on SAP General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank Accounting, Finance Master Data Management, and Allocations.
Overseeing solution architecture and vision for transformation programs
Managing multiple workstreams, including requirements gathering, system configuration, data integration, historical data conversion, security and controls, change management, training, and reporting.
Conducting regular reviews and quality assurance to ensure high-quality delivery
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client leadership, providing industry insights and best practices.
Communicating progress, identifying key risks early, developing mitigation plans, and escalating issues as necessary.
Mentoring junior team members to cultivate the next generation of SAP technology professionals.
Collaborating with global delivery teams on multi-disciplinary business transformations.
Working with senior EY leadership to identify new opportunities and solutions for business growth.
Strong technical skills in application functional design and technology business requirements definition.
Proven ability to analyze and map technology cost-benefit scenarios.
Expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
To qualify for the role, you must have
A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Over 8 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end SAP Core Finance (FICO modules) implementation.
At least 5 years of implementation experience in SAP S/4HANA, covering a minimum of two SAP FICO modules.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the financial services sector or comparable industry.
Strong knowledge of at least two record-to-report processes (e.g. Record-to-Report, Source-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Acquire-to-Retire).
Experience in process redesign and mapping, preferably within finance.
Proven success in a key role during SAP implementations.
A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%
Ideally, you’ll also have
Extensive experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design.
Experience leading data modelling and reporting projects
Experience with SAP RISE Migration and S/4HANA conversion (ECC to S/4HANA).
Experience implementing AI and next-generation technologies in finance.
A post-graduate or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field.
Experience in developing sales opportunities.
Experience in leading teams and managing change effectively.
Strong emotional agility and digital fluency.
A knack for building and managing client relationships.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $171,600 to $92,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is 205,900 to 445,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
