Primary responsibilities include maintaining the overall cleanliness of all exterior areas to include but not limited to all parking lots, driving range, St. Andrews, Pool Area, all cart paths. In addition, all maintenance issues and condition issues found in these areas must be immediately reported. This position pays $18.00/hour.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoors resort property such as but not limited to sidewalks, parking lots, trash receptacles, trash, leaves, and debris.
- Performs general maintenance work to ensure hotel and surrounding buildings maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained.
- Keep operational product inventory through resort requisition policies.
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate motorized backpack blower.
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate water feed pressure washers.
- Have a thorough understanding of Buildings fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
- Have a thorough understanding of Pacific Palms Resort rules and regulations.
- Must be willing and able to be responsive with guest issues and willing to pitch in and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
- Ability to safely drive a golf cart around the property
- Ability to operate some heavy machinery to include but not limited to gas powered blower, power washer and electric lift mechanisms.
- Demonstrate preparation for days work
- Proceed with work / repairs
- Clean up
- Fill out Daily Work Form
- Understand Resort emergency procedures
- Any and all reasonable requests of management
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic maintenance
- Ability to speak, read & write English
- Good customer service and good communication skills

Job Overview: The Grounds Maintenance will maintain an attractive, safe and pleasing environment for residents is of the utmost importance in delivering service to the community. The Grounds Maintenance is assigned to specific areas to perform and monitor landscape maintenance. Customer service is primary, and associates must maintain a good relationship with the residents, co-workers and vendors. Compensation: $ /hourFirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Job Responsibilities: · Work from written work orders and verbal instruction without direct supervision · Interface with homeowners to correct front yard deficiencies · Interface with landscape contracts to provide direction as required · Monitor landscape contractor performance; submit reports on contractor performance · Remove dead trees and plants as needed/approved · Landscape installation and maintenance including trees, plants, shrubs, lawn, etc. · Perform tree trimming as required · Pull weeds and remove trash as needed · Adjust automatic sprinkler controllers and repair irrigation systems · Assist other staff members in their areas of responsibility as required · Perform other tasks as required and directed Skills & Qualifications: An ability to follow verbal and written directions, keep accurate records, fill out logs and journals, and perform administrative operational functions. · Knowledge of the principles of landscaping and the use and maintenance of landscape tools · Knowledge in irrigation maintenance and repairs · Familiarity and comfort with the use of power tools including blowers, weed eaters, power washer, chainsaw, sprayer, etc. Education & Experience · High School Diploma or GED · 2 years of experience in the landscape maintenance field and irrigation management and repair · Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English as this position requires interfacing verbally with the public, residents, vendors, peers and supervisors. · Ability to prepare written reports and complete log sheets. · Bilingual Spanish helpful. Position Summary: Perform various maintenance duties including- repairing apartment building interiors, fixtures, common areas, grounds and property exteriors in a manner that is consistent with all licensing, accreditation, local and state building codes, and company standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in general structural and mechanical repair, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and yard work
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices
- Proficiency with hand tools and ability to supply personal tools for tasks
- Ability to follow a work order system and execute tasks with varying levels of supervision
- Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements
- Must be able to communicate effectively, read, write, and use basic computer functions
Responsibilities:
1. Work hours prescribed and be available to work additional hours when necessary. Some overtime may be required.
2. Review and respond to assigned tasks in the work ticket system for repairs across all facility buildings.
3. Adhere to OSHA regulations and safe work practices, including Lockout/Tagout, personal protective equipment, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) procedures.
4. Collaborate with outside contractors when necessary.
5. Perform routine building maintenance, both corrective and preventive, as assigned.
6. Conduct weekly inspections of facility vehicles to ensure safe operation.
7. Perform weekly and monthly inspections throughout the buildings.
8. Assist leadership in necessary in-house repairs not requiring an outside source, i.e. changing filters, motors, painting, snow removal and other miscellaneous duties as they occur.
9. Perform room set ups, move furniture and assist housekeeping when needed.
10. Perform carpet extraction and related floor repairs when required.
11. Serve as a member of the Environmental Services (ES) Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
12. Understand and comply with all the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
13. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
14. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
15. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 7:30am – 4:00pm

Compensation & Rewards : Based on education, experience, and credentials
- Starting pay- $22.42
Shift Differentials
- 2nd shift: +.25/hr
- 3rd shift: +.50
Incentives: $.50/hr with CADC certification
