Welcome to Haven Herb Garden Bar — a downtown sanctuary where plant medicine meets intentional hospitality. Located in the heart of Glenwood South, we offer an elevated café experience rooted in cannabis, beautifully crafted mocktails, and a calming ambiance during the day designed to ground and uplift that transitions to a upbeat high vibe bar at night.
At Haven Herb Garden Bar, we serve infused, non-alcoholic drinks as an alternative to traditional bar culture. Our drinks are crafted to help you remember, not forget — to reconnect with your body, spark joy, and create moments of real presence. Whether it's a calming tea or a euphoric mocktail, each drink is designed to elevate your experience.

Your Role
As a Barista / Mocktail Bartender, you'll craft functional, visually stunning beverages using herbs, coffee, adaptogens, and infused ingredients. You'll provide excellent customer service educate guests on the purpose behind each drink — whether for calm, focus, energy, or connection — while delivering grounded, graceful service in our lush, jungle-inspired space.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve drinks including mocktails, herbal teas, infused lattes, and elixirs
- Educate guests on ingredients like lion's mane, blue lotus, CBD, rose, and more
- Maintain a clean, organized, and beautiful bar station
- Follow batching and drink prep protocols with accuracy and consistency
- Operate the POS system and handle payments and keep accurate drawers
- Help come up with new Ideas and thinking of ways we can improve
- Assist with seasonal drink menu rollouts and events
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be 21+
- Strong customer service and multitasking skills
- Experience with making coffee
- Experience behind the bar making drinks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain presentation standards
- Abilty to run a POS System accurately
Preferred:
- Familiarity with adaptogens, hemp-derived ingredients, and herbalism
- Creative eye for drink presentation and guest experience
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, or event support

Perform and document all purchasing, receiving, and inventory control of food and supplies.
Maintain proper sanitation, temperature, and food handling techniques to comply with regulations.
Determine quality, quantity and portion size of food required and ensure proper handling of food.
Ensure adequate staffing and management of the department's employees.
Ensure production for both patient meals and cafeteria line are properly coordinated.
Develop cafeteria menu as needed.
Purchase food, assist with and assign duties for special needs or special occasions.
Qualifications
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) with the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM) or an executive chef required.
Three to five years of healthcare clinical nutrition, or executive chef experience required.
Ten plus years healthcare food service experience, or five plus years of healthcare management experience required.
Graduate of a Bachelors degree program in Dietetics, Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
Must have thorough knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, administration, and operation of hospital food services, and knowledge of all H.A.C.C.P. guidelines.

Become the Nutrition Services Director you always wanted to be
Manage Departmental budget as it relates to position.
Perform and document all purchasing, receiving, and inventory control of food and supplies.
Maintain proper sanitation, temperature, and food handling techniques to comply with regulations.
Determine quality, quantity and portion size of food required and ensure proper handling of food.
Ensure adequate staffing and management of the department's employees.
Ensure production for both patient meals and cafeteria line are properly coordinated.
Develop cafeteria menu as needed.
Purchase food, assist with and assign duties for special needs or special occasions.
Qualifications
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) with the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM) or an executive chef required.
Three to five years of healthcare clinical nutrition, or executive chef experience required.
Ten plus years healthcare food service experience, or five plus years of healthcare management experience required.
Graduate of a Bachelors degree program in Dietetics, Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
Must have thorough knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, administration, and operation of hospital food services, and knowledge of all H.A.C.C.P. guidelines.

Currently seeking a full-time Cook for the Abingdon Jail Facility. The hours/shifts may be flexible to accommodate the needs of the jail. High School Diploma or GED and previous food service experience required, preferably commercial food preparation.
