About the Team:

The Powder Bed Fusion manufacturing team develops, creates, and operates the most advanced additive manufacturing technologies in the world. This best-in-class team makes sure that the infrastructure, materials, tools, and equipment are in place for us to rapidly iterate and print. The Powder-Based manufacturing team was crucial to manufacturing Aeon-1 for first launch and now are developing and demonstrating groundbreaking technologies, design, and approaches for Aeon-R!

About the Role:

This is a 2nd shift position with a standard schedule of 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM PT, Monday through Friday. The role includes a 10% shift differential added to the base pay. Please note that this position is structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek, which may include occasional overtime as needed to meet operational goals.

• Operate Depowdering Machinery, Wire EDM's, and Vacuum Heat-Treating Furnaces
• Deburr, Remove Supports, and Surface Prep PBF Printed Hardware
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, defects, surface quality, and perform necessary rework
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of work performed
• Collaborate with Engineering and Team to develop and implement new post processing operations
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines ensuring a safe work environment

About You:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ Years Experience in PBF Post-Processing or other Additive Manufacturing technologies
• Proficient in operating post-processing equipment such as Depowdering Machinery, Wire EDM's, Vacuum Heat-Treating Furnaces, and a solid understanding in various post-processing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality parts. Experienced in inspecting PBF Parts for defections and dimensional accuracy
• Ability to interpret technical documents and maintain accurate records
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues related to post-processing

Nice to haves but not required:

• 3+ years working as a Powder Bed Fusion Technician
• 2 Year Associate Science in Advanced Manufacturing Technology (or equivalent)
• Certification in Wire EDM and/or Vacuum Heat-Treating applications
• Experience in Esprit Cam Software or Programming Wire EDM's

ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN

Freeform is deploying software-defined, autonomous metal 3D printing factories around the world, bringing the scalability of software to physical production. Our proprietary technology stack leverages advanced sensing, real-time controls, and data-driven learning to produce digitally-verified, flawless parts at unprecedented speed and cost. As an Additive Manufacturing Technician at Freeform, you will play a critical role in the post processing of 3D printed parts for the world's most additive manufacturing systems. You will own everything required to go from finished print to shipping parts out to customers including powder handling, EDM operation, support removal, surface finishing, inspection, and more. We are looking for someone with extreme attention to detail and a keen eye for process improvements to help Freeform scale to mass production. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced R&D environment, will take pride in their work, and will have a no-job-too-big-or-small mentality.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and monitor machinery such as wire EDMs, surface grinders, sand blasters, deburring tools, bandsaws and handle metal powders
• Post process printed parts including depowering, precision cleaning, removing supports, and surface-finishing
• Participate in process improvement efforts to streamline post processing operations to enable mass production
• Help turnover builds, ensuring powders, tools, and equipment are available at all times
• Assist with visual inspection and shipment of final parts

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in metal additive manufacturing process support or precision deburring of machined parts

Nice to Have:

• Experience in operating complex equipment
• Skilled with manual machining, welding, cutting, fitting and/or bending of stainless steels, aluminums, and high-strength nickel alloys
• Ability to utilize power tools, hand tools, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs unassisted
• Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Must be available and willing to work overtime when needed
• Safety conscience
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, and restocking surgical instruments and trays. This role ensures strict adherence to infection control and safety standards, providing essential support to surgical teams by delivering necessary instruments promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments following established protocols.
2. Sterilize and assemble surgical trays tailored for various procedures.Maintain and restock sterile supplies to ensure availability for surgical teams.Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times.Support surgical teams by ensuring timely delivery of instruments and equipment.

Required Qualifications

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing or a related field.
2. Certification from IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management) or HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association).
