Responsibilities:
- Schematics & Blueprints
- Provide technical support for all quality assurance and quality control activities during installation and ongoing operations.
- Perform onsite analysis and assessments using Lean tools and principles, ensuring verification of processes.
- Act as the primary QA/QC contact and coordinate all related activities at job site(s).
- Support the implementation of cost, quality, and installation improvement initiatives.
- Conduct Site Quality Audits and maintain related records in the EHS Insight Database.

- Analyze and address gaps in processes leading to quality issues.
- Utilize Lean methodologies and root cause analysis tools for investigations and process improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams including quality, installation, service, and customers.

Qualifications:

- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience monitoring and supporting QA/QC programs.
- Experience with continuous improvement methods, concepts, and Lean skills.
- Familiarity with construction contractors preferred.
- Bilingual English/Japanese is a plus.
- Ability to operate tools and equipment, including torque wrenches and hand tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, including potential international travel.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Physical Demands:

- Ability to stand, walk, use hands, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in various environments ranging from outdoor construction to indoor clean rooms.

Work Environment:

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator – Electrical/Mechanical to ensure our products, systems, and processes meet customer, industry, and company quality standards. This role involves inspecting materials, mechanical components, and electrical systems, maintaining quality records, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections on incoming materials, welds, in-process work, final products, and electrical systems to ensure compliance with drawings, blueprints, and industry standards.
• Install, maintain, and test electrical wiring, switchgear, motors, transformers, lighting, and other industrial electrical components.
• Conduct equipment testing for continuity, voltage, current, resistance, and mechanical tolerances.
• Maintain calibration records and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Collect, document, and report quality data for audits, projects, and process improvements.

• Hands-on experience with AWS welding inspection and fabrication processes (mechanical) and industrial electrical systems .
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AWS D1.1/CSA W47.1, AWS D1.1/W59, and NEC regulations.
• Basic PLC programming knowledge is a plus.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics for both mechanical and electrical systems.

• Sustain open communication with the Project Management/Engineering team.
• Verifies contractor's QC plan prior to work being performed.

Physical Demand

Salary is paid on a bi-weekly basis and will be consummate with the value and experience the candidate brings to the role.
