Job Description
Freezing Point is the fastest growing frozen beverage company in the US and the maker of Frazil, 100% Juice Frazil, Frazil Energy, and Café Tango! We are a growing, high-performance team in search of a Machine Service Technician to join our Mobile Response Team (MRT).
The MRT team at Frazil are full-time employees responsible for the installation, repair, and removal of Frazil machines. When working onsite in our UT warehouse, MRT’s spend their time diagnosing and reconditioning machines. When traveling, MRT’s are visiting stores and clients for onsite installations, removals, and repairs.
Travel
Travel is not required. During busy summer months, technicians who travel often do so up to 50% of the time. As part of our travel program – all flights, hotels, and transportation costs are covered. Technicians receive a $45 daily per diem to cover daily food expenses and are eligible for overtime pay for all hours worked or traveled above 40 hours in a week.
Pay Details
Technicians earn a base hourly rate of $9- 22 per hour. Unlimited overtime is currently available for all MRT roles. Technicians who travel regularly, can expect to earn more than 60k per year.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, sort, clean and recondition used machines and parts (BUNN Ultra equipment mainly).
- Provide mobile response installations and service calls across the US as needed; arrange logistics with operations.
- Decommission scrapped machines for disposal and spare parts.
- Document job completion.
- Welcome and professionally engage with customers during in-store projects to ensure expectations are met and the Company’s brand image is properly represented.
- Support the in-store retail excellence refresh projects.
- Monitor machine parts inventory levels and ensure timely restocking.
- Develop and maintain high levels of knowledge of Company products.
- Organize tools and clean work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualitifcations & Competencies
- Ability to diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot; mechanical aptitude
- Strength to move / lift heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications & Competencies:
- Experience working with appliances, refrigeration, or HVAC
- Graduate of technical or vocational school
- Refrigeration EPA certified preferred; will provide training for certification otherwise
- Ability to travel in the US up to 50% of the time during busy season (March – August); travel during the off season may also be required as projects require

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Repairs and calibrate tools, pumps and equipment requiring mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic repair and performs preventive maintenance services.
- Pretesting of hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, tools and links for the sole purpose of proper form, fit and function.
- The job involves trouble-shooting, tearing down, repairing, reassembling and testing pumps, motors and tools in shop.
- Works with sales and service team members, engineers and customers to meet the growing day to day repair requirements.
- Checks tools for safety decals and safe operating features and maintains an accurate schedule and record of maintenance.
- Demonstrates orientation toward excellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications and interactions in a cooperative, positive and professional manner.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in repairing and maintaining tools and/or equipment.

The Repair Technician uses materials and tools to diagnose problems and identifies the root cause by initiating repairs in order to return the product to serviceable conditions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Repairs printed circuit boards (PCB) and/or peripherals to factory condition
- Diagnoses cause of electrical problem for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or system repairs and replace needs
- Replaces electrical components (north bridge, south bridge, capacitors, etc.) using both leaded and lead free solder
- Utilizes test equipment and electronic principals to diagnose the cause of the failure
- Documents all findings and labor performance in the data collection system
- Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items to complete the necessary installation/repairs

Job Title: Repair Technician Job Description
The Repair Technician will be responsible for the electronic troubleshooting and repair of multi-layer PC boards used for electronic pump/current regulators. The candidate will utilize test equipment and perform component-level troubleshooting.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment to the component level.
- Utilize test equipment such as DVMs, Calibrators, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, and Analyzers.
- Perform component-level troubleshooting using computer-based test programs.
- Read and comprehend electronic schematic diagrams and test procedures.
- Move and handle equipment weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative actions.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication in English.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment to the component level.
- An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent in electronics technology.
- Proficiency in digital and analog circuitry.
- Expertise in using test equipment such as DVMs, Calibrators, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, and Analyzers.
- Fluency in English.
- Knowledge of metrology operations.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and take preventative actions.
