A Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre-trip inspections, performing child checks post-route, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are the most important tasks of the driver.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a school bus, van or SUV to transport students to and from school safely and on time.
• Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior to ensure a safe ride.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local traffic laws, as well as district requirements and standards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
• Possess a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses, or a Class C with P & S endorsements for vans (or willingness to obtain through our free training).
• Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and maintain compliance with state and federal CDL guidelines.
• Non-CDL drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and complete CDL permit training.

Coach Bus Driver – Class A or B

Coachman Luxury Transport is a Coach Bus company located in Farmingdale, NY. We are looking for experienced drivers to add to our growing company.

We are on the search for reliable, safety conscious, friendly and courteous professionals to help serve our customers.

Our Bus drivers operate our 56 passenger Coach buses. Vanhool, Volvo, Prevost, Setra. You must have knowledge of Long Island and the 5 boroughs. Class A OR B, CDL License with Passenger endorsement required. Must have Charter Bus or Class A experience to apply for this position.

As a First Student Part Time School Bus Driver you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students' day with before-school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home.

Now Hiring School Bus Drivers for Eastchester, Harrison, New Rochelle, New York

As a First Student Bus Driver you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students' day with before-school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home.

No experience as a bus driver is required! We're proud to train you with our industry-leading technology to help you succeed.

Your day will include:

• A split shift, which means an early morning before-school pickup and an after-school drop-off with a few free hours in between.
• A guaranteed shift of 5 hours per school day, no working nights or weekends unless you want to
• Additional hours gained through trips and charters when available.

School Bus Driver benefits:

• $28.64/HR Big Bus Starting Rate After Training
• $6.52/HR Van Starting Rate After Training
• 16.50/HR During Training
• 5000 sign on bonus for experienced drivers*
• 3000 sign on bonus for new drivers*
• 1000 Driver Referral Bonus
