What will I be doing?
As a Primary Massage Therapist, you will partner with spa management in supporting the Massage Therapist team by providing operational support to create a cohesive and exceptional guest experience and work environment
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Perform massage and/or body treatments while providing exceptional customer service in adherence to treatment protocols.
- Assist Treatment Manager in keeping supplies at set part levels, ensuring that all equipment and areas relative to the massage therapist team are in good working condition by communicating issues with the spa management team and inputting work orders as necessary, and assisting the massage therapist team with their daily operational needs.
- Assist Treatment Manager with training initiatives related to newly developed treatments, product knowledge, and service standards. Conduct training sessions as directed by Spa Management.
- Assist in the daily operations of the spa by attending daily pre-shift meetings, departmental meetings and meetings set forth by the Spa Management Team.
- Assist in service standards audits and complete required records. Conduct treatment room inspections and maintain treatment room standards, specific to spa menu protocols that may change with menu revisions periodically determined by spa management.
- Be proficient in all spa software as declared by Hilton and spa management.
- Be listed as designated Lead Massage Therapist on license for Kilolani Spa establishment with Hawaii State Board
- In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the company.
- Attends required trainings and meetings set forth by the spa management team
- Performs side work functions to maintain the spa environment as needed
- Assist in spa operations applicable to massage therapist team, as requested by spa management team.

- Specific responsibilities include providing students with appropriate, current course material consistent with the overall curriculum; assuring student comprehension and competency; and providing unbiased outcome assessments.
