Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruiter with a strong background in strategic sourcing and full-cycle recruitment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of proven success , particularly in utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other digital tools to attract top-tier talent. Key Responsibilities

Element Science is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Partner to play a pivotal role in our growth and commercialization phase. As we prepare for commercial launch and scale-up of manufacturing, we’re seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to help build high-performing teams in Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial Operations and occasionally support critical roles in Engineering, G&A, and Clinical.

Responsibilities

What you'll do- Lead full-cycle recruitment processes, including recruitment strategy meetings, crafting job profiles, engaging in networking opportunities, facilitating candidate assessments, coaching managers on selection techniques, and managing the offer process.
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with applicable laws and organizational policies, fostering stakeholder trust and alignment.
- Guide business leaders through the vacancy approval process and develop tailored recruitment strategies that address unique talent needs.
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, coaching them on effective recruitment strategies and best practices to achieve hiring goals.
- Create detailed documentation to inform executives of recruitment progress, support decision-making, and align with organizational expectations to instill confidence in the process.
- Foster deep, high-touch partnerships with business leaders, aligning recruitment outcomes with organizational needs, values, and leadership expectations.
- Build meaningful relationships with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure a seamless and positive recruitment experience.
- Manage administrative responsibilities, including collecting, auditing, and filing competition documentation, maintaining accurate recruitment databases, and tracking and reporting recruitment metrics to inform leadership.
- Conduct follow-up activities to measure satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and continuously enhance recruitment processes.

We're looking for someone who has the following:
- Experience using an applicant tracking system is a must, and recruiting experience in a unionized environment is preferred.
- Extensive experience managing all aspects of recruitment, including intake meetings, job profiles, networking, assessments, and offer negotiations.
- Extensive experience in leading executive recruitment including strategic sourcing, documentation and reporting.
- Skilled in using professional networks to build and maintain robust talent pipelines.
- Expertise in coaching leaders on recruitment strategies and leveraging industry trends and tools to drive innovation.
- Demonstrated ability to foster relationships with HR partners, hiring managers, and candidates, ensuring a seamless recruitment experience.
Your background and experience
- A bachelor's degree is required with a concentration in human resources, communications, marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within a large, complex organization offering a wide range of positions.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Partner will support the recruitment and retention efforts at Columbia University. The TA Partner will serve as a resource to Schools and Departments across the University to implement and maintain the University’s talent initiatives that elevate the University’s employer brand. They will work with various individuals and groups constructively and respectfully while appreciating the unique contributions of an inclusive workforce that brings together people's talents across multiple identities. The TA Partner will ensure optimal candidate recruitment experience, maintain communication throughout the entire process, and positively represent the University.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent. Identify and implement best practices in the areas of recruitment and sourcing.
- Grow and foster high-touch relationships with qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open up. Provide a pipeline of qualified candidates for hard-to-fill roles.
- Leverage TalentLink (ATS) to engage passive and active talent, including outreach campaigns. Develop a proactive and steady pipeline of qualified and diverse talent for open positions by successfully implementing candidate sourcing strategies.
- Stay active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent and plan, as well as create and release job descriptions and announcements. Research and recommend sources for active and passive candidate recruitment.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria. Work closely with managers to understand the department’s hiring needs for each position and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations.
- Conduct pre-screening phone interviews to assess candidates for the required skillset and competencies for current or future positions.
- Understand how to best use current University systems/tools and qualitative and quantitative data to influence decisions and continuously improve the University’s sourcing and recruiting effectiveness.
- Ensure the collection and analysis of recruiting metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruiting and retention practices. Deliver recruitment metrics reports to Schools and Departments as needed.
- Implement and leverage various sourcing strategies and tools to identify candidates and promote open positions through social media sites, employee referrals, ATS-based outreach campaigns, online job board advertising and complex web-based sourcing, and other tools.
- Responsible for maintaining and analyzing recruiting metrics and providing insights for data-driven recommendations and decisions.
- Participate in campus-wide employer branding and employee value proposition initiatives.
- Participate in hiring events, including job fairs and other organized recruiting initiatives. Participate in cross-functional HR & DEI initiatives/projects, as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process for a diverse portfolio of IT roles, including (but not limited to) Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Data Scientists, Cybersecurity Analysts, Product Managers, and IT Support Specialists.
