Full Job Description
Microsoft is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our
team in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves developing and executing
go-to-market strategies for specific Microsoft products or services.
You will work closely with product management, sales, and engineering
teams to position products, create messaging, and drive market
adoption.

- Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
- Create and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and updates.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and threats.
- Develop sales enablement materials, including presentations, datasheets, and training content.
- Create customer-facing content, such as website copy, blog posts, case studies, and whitepapers.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns.
- Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Track and analyze product performance and market adoption metrics.
- Present product value proposition to internal teams, partners, and customers.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the product internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or a related role in the technology industry.
- Proven experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for software or cloud services.
- Strong understanding of the technology landscape and relevant market trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling marketing messages.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decisions.
- Experience working with sales teams and channel partners.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Microsoft products and services is a plus.
