Full Job Description

Microsoft is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves developing and executing go-to-market strategies for specific Microsoft products or services. You will work closely with product management, sales, and engineering teams to position products, create messaging, and drive market adoption.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
  • Create and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and updates.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and threats.
  • Develop sales enablement materials, including presentations, datasheets, and training content.
  • Create customer-facing content, such as website copy, blog posts, case studies, and whitepapers.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Track and analyze product performance and market adoption metrics.
  • Present product value proposition to internal teams, partners, and customers.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the product internally and externally.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or a related role in the technology industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for software or cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of the technology landscape and relevant market trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling marketing messages.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • Experience working with sales teams and channel partners.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft products and services is a plus.
