Position Summary
To deliver continued results as an organization and create resiliency amongst the industry, a robust Integrated Business Planning process is key to its success. The Director of, Integrated Business Planning Governance plays a critical role by providing the structure, processes, and oversight needed to ensure that the operational, commercial and finance planning is effective, efficient, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals across all IBP Planning horizons (i.e. Advanced Planning, S&OP, S&OE) for the entire Beer Division.
In this role this individual will be responsible for driving effective IBP governance and process discipline by:
- Alignment and Accountability: Governance ensures that all parts of the organization are aligned with the overall business strategy. It establishes clear roles and responsibilities, ensuring accountability at all levels of the planning process.
- This includes influencing many levels up through Executive leadership to ensure we can deliver short term to long term business targets and objectives.
- Decision-Making: Effective governance provides a structured framework for decision-making. It helps in prioritizing initiatives, allocating resources efficiently, and making informed decisions that align with strategic objectives.
- S&OE – Drive tactical decisioning with fulfillment, production scheduling, resource allocation, and customer service.
- S&OP –Drive strategic decisions around demand, supply, production and financial planning to meet business targets.
- NPI – Drives strategic decisions on new product introduction.
- Strategic Planning – Drive decisions around capacity planning, network design, supplier planning and risk management
- Risk Management: Governance frameworks help identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with business planning. This proactive approach to risk management ensures that potential issues are addressed before they impact the business. Examples include:
- Ensuring proper levels of redundancy in capabilities as well as establishing risk mitigation plans in the event of issues to allow for better business continuity.
- Performance Monitoring: Governance structures facilitate the monitoring and evaluation of performance against the plan. This ongoing assessment helps in identifying areas for improvement and ensuring that the business remains on track to achieve its goals.
- Communication and Collaboration: Governance promotes effective communication and collaboration across different departments and functions. It ensures that everyone is working towards common goals and that there is a shared understanding of the business priorities.
- Compliance and Control: Governance ensures that the business planning process complies with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. It establishes controls to safeguard the integrity of the planning process, and the accuracy of the information used.

- Identify the capabilities needed to meet the development of the Planning teams. Evaluate current capabilities, identify gaps, and prioritize development activities.
- Motivate others to develop their capabilities and fulfil their personal potential. Build capabilities elsewhere in the organization through formalized training, clear and concise operating model overview, mentoring and other informal methods.

Role Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in Supply Chain Management preferred and/or 12+ years of Supply Chain experience with inclusive of 3+ years management experience.
- Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the CPG, preferably Beverage Alcohol, industry.
- Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from Strategy, Commercial, Supply Chain, finance, and digital.
- Talent management experience and demonstrated results in managing and developing a team of strong skilled professionals required.

- 5+ years of Integrated Business Planning execution experience in high functional processes

This position would lead Garver's new business/financial planning practice in the aviation industry. Other industries Garver currently works in (e.g. water, transportation, etc.) may be served as well. However, this position description will focus specifically on considerations related to the aviation industry.
Potential types of aviation business/financial projects the individual would be responsible for leading include:
- Airline rates and charges model development and negotiations
- Detailed Capital Improvement Program (CIP) financial planning including modeling for different project financing alternatives
- Non-airline rates and charges studies and negotiations (e.g., landing fees, lease rates, parking, concessionaires, etc.)
- Debt service review and analysis (e.g., different types of bonds and financial impacts of each)
- Financial feasibility and business analysis studies (e.g., business cases, etc.)
- Cost-benefit analysis
- Passenger Facility Charges (PFC) budgets and applications
- Customer Facility Charge (CFC) rate setting and negotiations
- Fiscal management consulting (e.g., fiscal projections, budgeting) for capital and operating budgets and expenditures, forecasting sensitivity analysis, and reports and presentations
- Advise on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead marketing/pursuit efforts across the United States to develop a financial/business planning practice in aviation.
- Lead technical aspects of financial analysis work including the project types identified in the overview section.
Skills and Expertise
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex financial messages using spreadsheets, dashboards, or other visualization methods.
- Ability to collaborate and cross sell other Garver services (e.g., engineering, planning, etc.).

Experience
- 10+ years experience in airport/aviation financial planning and modeling.

You will play a critical role in helping enterprises align strategic, financial, and operational plans to drive enterprise performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve our IBP solution by integrating core platform capabilities into end-to-end planning processes across finance, supply chain, commercial, and operations.
- Lead solution design that enables scenario modelling, consensus planning, financial reconciliation, and executive decision-making.
- Engage with customers and partners to deeply understand their IBP processes, pain points, and decision-making frameworks.
- Partner with go-to-market teams to support messaging, positioning, and enablement materials that articulate the business value of IBP.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to drive solution innovation aligned with market trends and customer feedback.
- Stay current with industry trends including S&OP, E2E planning, digital twins, and the evolving role of AI in strategic planning.
- Work with strategic partners (e.g., Oliver Wight) to co-develop best-practice offerings and enable scalable implementation.
- Proven experience in enterprise-level planning, ideally 10+ years across supply chain, finance, commercial, or operations roles.
- Demonstrated success in a Product Management role, ideally delivering IBP, S&OP, or cross-functional planning solutions.
- Background with EPM, SCM, or IBP technology providers such as Anaplan, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle, Board, or similar.
- Strong understanding of the intersection between strategic, financial, and operational planning.
- Experience working with consulting firms or industry leaders to define planning transformation strategies.
- Ability to translate complex planning challenges into simple, scalable solutions.
- Familiarity with SaaS-based software and agile product development.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.
