To Be Successful:This role requires a solid understanding of computer graphics principles to translate artistic ideas into technical implementations that showcase Dolby's value propositions. The ideal candidate will build a deep understanding of how Dolby technology products are deployed and inter-operate in content creation systems. Effective communication and collaboration with business partners and digitally creative customers who are pushing the boundaries of video experiences are essential. With these competencies and software development expertise, the candidate will consistently delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize software design and architecture skills to architect, design, and develop content creation tools for movies and user-generated content.
- Apply image processing experience to develop high-performance imaging tools.
- Collaborate with Dolby business partners to define content workflows and build software products to achieve these goals.
- Partner with other Dolby technical and business teams, contributing expertise to company-wide technical strategy and knowledge base.
- Embody the principles of agile and lean development.
- BS or MS in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience in C++.
- Experience working on image processing for the movie or gaming industry.
- Experience with performance profiling and engineering to improve it.
- Proficiencies include: C++, Python, build tools like CMake, version control software like git.
- Experience with cross-platform (Linux, Windows, MacOS) and cross-architecture (X86 and ARM) development.
- Experience with GPU programming and highly multi-threaded processing.
- Demonstrable familiarity with media processing APIs and software constructs.
- Demonstrable proficiency in computer graphics architecture and systems.
- Experience with the Halide programming language is a plus.
- Enthusiastic passion for movies, music, and video games!
The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $184,800 - $253,900, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.

You’ll report to our Director of Social & Brand and play a hands-on role in building our presence across TikTok and Instagram. If you’ve got an eye for trends, a camera roll full of CapCut drafts, and love the energy of startup life—this one’s for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Track trends and emerging formats across TikTok and Instagram
Pitch, film, and edit original short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, etc.)
Help brainstorm content calendars and visual storytelling concepts
Be both behind and in front of the camera, repping The Long Run brand voice
Support influencer and content creator collaborations
Assist with giveaways, surprise-and-delight drops, and social media engagement
Participate in real-time community management and DM interactions
WHAT YOU BRING:
Studying or recently graduated in marketing, media, communications, or a related field
Strong grasp of TikTok and Instagram—trends, transitions, and the algorithms that run them
Experience with mobile editing tools (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Rush, etc.)
Comfortable filming yourself and others, and bringing personality to the camera
Deep curiosity for brand building, startup culture, and storytelling

What You’ll Do:

Turn complex (sometimes science-y) info into clean, creative stories that hit for both consumers and professionals
Collaborate with strategy, editorial, and design to develop concepts and formats that break through
Remix master brand assets into platform-friendly posts keeping things on-brand, on-voice, and within regulatory guardrails
Jump on trends, culture moments, and reactive content ops without skipping a beat
Bring consumer social energy when working with our agency influencer team , Starpower
Use Canva like a pro (plus bonus points if you're fluent in Adobe Creative Suite or Figma)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Director of Content Creation with a strong background in writing for the infrastructure, data centers, technology, or energy industries. This role will be pivotal in helping to define, build and execute against a comprehensive, integrated, multi-channel marketing program that is designed to elevate the visibility, engagement, and growth of the entire Tract Capital portfolio. This role is ideal for a self-motivated content professional who thrives on turning complex topics into clear, compelling, and audience-friendly content across a range of formats.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have experience and practical expertise in the following:
- Developing high-quality, engaging content including blog posts, white papers, investor letters, articles, social media posts, website copy, presentations and marketing materials.
- Generating original ideas for content that align with industry trends and business goals.
- Proofreading and editing content to ensure clarity, grammatical accuracy, and brand consistency across tone, voice, style, and formatting.
- Managing and maintaining a detailed content calendar with deadlines for various writing projects.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, investor relations, product, executive leadership) and external partners to gather insights and approvals.
- Staying informed about trends and best practices within the infrastructure, data center, energy, and broader technology sectors to ensure timely and relevant content.
- Ensuring consistent messaging across all content platforms and formats.
- Helping shape content strategy by identifying gaps, proposing improvements, and optimizing for audience engagement.
Required Traits, Expertise, and Skills:
Education, Professional Certification, and Licenses:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Technical Writing, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience as a content writer, copywriter, or technical writer—ideally within the infrastructure, technology, data center, or telecom sectors.
Experience :
- Proven portfolio of published work that demonstrates ability to translate technical subject matter into compelling narratives.
- Exceptional command of grammar, structure, and editorial style.
- Strong research skills and ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.
