THE ROLE:
FloSports is seeking a Sr. Data Analytics Engineer to join our high-impact Business Intelligence team. Our team owns company-wide reporting, analytics, and insights, our Snowflake data infrastructure, and our ML/AI models. These include our content valuation model, similar to Netflix’s adjusted view share, and our demand forecasting models that forecast critical financial KPIs, including sign ups, viewership, engagement, and customer lifetime value (LTV).
To start, this role will be critical in refactoring and enhancing our existing data infrastructure, delivering value through the introduction of new demand forecasting modules, providing as needed expertise in advancing our A/B and multivariate experiment architecture, and playing a key role in the high value action (HVA) framework and data infrastructure that we’re building and launching in 2025. The ideal candidate will have domain experience in building data infrastructure, data schemas, data modeling, ML/AI models, and ideally some background in running experiments and building HVA frameworks. Bonus points for familiarity with subscription-based DTC businesses, OTT products, and/or SVOD and live event streaming services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as one of our technical leads for our Snowflake data infrastructure, data schemas, data modeling, and high value action infrastructure.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and consistency.

Responsibilities / Activities
- Drive data driven decisions to create products and programs.
- Demonstrate credibility as an IT partner to ensure business and technology decisions are reached to support business goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in analytics, data architecture, data migration, solution/enterprise architecture, and systems integration.
- Ability to organize large volumes of data for compilation, analysis, and retrieval.
- Data governance experience a must.
- Demonstrated ability to command the attention and respect of senior level leaders and confidently present to various organizations and teams.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Enterprise experience with cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, training, and closure.
- Experience with complex projects from conception to completion with limited guidance.
- Knowledge of concepts, techniques, and tools relating to coordinating and tracking projects.
- Criminal background check required for all employees.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is from $140,000 - $170,000 depending on overall skillset and experience.
