Position Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and strategically minded Graphic Design Director to lead the brand’s visual identity across all channels.     • Oversee design for email marketing, website graphics, campaign branding, packaging, signage, printed collateral, and digital ads.
    • Work closely with Creative Ops to ensure timelines are met and assets are delivered with accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field; Master’s preferred, with 10+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience as a senior-level graphic designer or design director.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse design projects.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of design principles, branding, and industry trends.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design tools.
  • Experience with print and digital media, including file formats and specifications.

We are currently recruiting for a Digital Art teachers for Grades 3-12 for weekday afternoons and weekends and the possibility of Summer Camps starting in June at our Englewood, NJ school location.

During the School year our classes typically start at 3:30pm so it is a great opportunity for public and private school art teachers and current art students in graduate programs to earn extra money doing what they love. In the Summer we have classes running Mon-Fri from 9am to 6pm. You can teach mornings, afternoons or both for as many weeks as you need.

Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided. Our Digital teachers need to be experts in the Adobe Creative Suite on Mac: Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, After Effects. In addition we need our teacher to be familiar with Blender 3D and Procreate.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience teaching digital art or digital design classes (Anime and Manga style a preference)
  • BFA or BS Art Education
  • Illustrator, Animate, Photoshop, Blender, Procreate.

The Director of Graphic Design is essential to AZHCC successful marketing and events. The position plays a critical role in the creation of brochures and logos. Therefore, the Director of Graphic Design must supervise and closely collaborate with other positions within the organization, such as the Marketing Manager, Branding Manager, Media Consultant, and Marketing Specialist. This collaboration is essential for advertising, promotions, public relations, and overall marketing efforts. The Director of Graphic Design oversees the execution of the strategic marketing plan, providing creative direction and guidance to design teams working on the organization's brand (AZHCC) and sub-brands, such as "Ambassadors Meeting," "Buenos Dias Networking Breakfast," "Contactos After 5 Mixers," "Business Bootcamp," and "New Member Orientation." Additionally, the Director exercises judgment in the final work product before publication. A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field is required.

As part of one of the nations top-ranked design programs, the professor will inspire students through exceptional instruction, mentorship, and industry insights while advancing the departments reputation for excellence. This position emphasizes graduate-level education, coordination, and the development of advanced curriculum components to ensure alignment with current industry trends and SCADs rigorous academic standards.

The professor will teach graduate and undergraduate graphic design courses with a focus on advanced design thinking, research, and application of professional practices. In addition, they will lead student projects in collaboration with live clients, providing hands-on experience in real-world design practice. The role involves coordinating and developing the graduate program curriculum, mentoring graduate students in portfolio creation, thesis projects, and career guidance, as well as fostering an inclusive, dynamic learning environment that supports diverse student backgrounds and learning styles. The successful candidate will also be involved in department and university-wide initiatives, maintaining an active presence in the design industry through creative practice or professional projects, and participating in recruitment, academic advising, and student reviews.

Requirements :

  • Terminal degree or its equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing professional expertise in contemporary design practices, with a proven track record of professional success.
  • Experience in a variety of areas of focus, including digital design, branding, UI/UX, motion graphics, packaging, experiential design, as well as print and digital production.
  • Interest in new media, including integration of AI tools into the design process.
  • Expertise in research, design thinking, strategy and ideation, writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Figma, ChatGPT, Firefly) and emerging design tools.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with 3D modeling programs such as Cinema 4D.
  • Active engagement in industry organizations, conferences, or publications. Cross-disciplinary design experience or collaboration with other creative fields.
  • Teaching experience at the collegiate level or mentorship experience.
  • Experience with international clients.

Minimum Qualifications :

Terminal degree (or equivalent) in the discipline or in a relevant field.
Academic and professional credentials to teach in a certain discipline.
Experience in or knowledge of related professions.
