Job Description Summary:
Responsibilities And Duties:
40%Receives calls from external and internal customers who are needing images and/or reports. Assists PACs users throughout the organization in the use of PACS product to improve and assure accuracy of the patient imaging medical record. Educate physicians on use of all applicable software. Assist the radiologist, other physicians, and staff in the execution of their duties by acting as a resource person for timely, effective use of electronic and manual files of imaging records. Provide customers comprehensive technology problem determination and resolution using documented procedures and available tools.35 % Retrieve and/or create patients' electronic folders. Access reports and/or other patient exam data via the RIS, PACS and related software systems. Communicate reports and/or image data to the appropriate physician and other customers in a timely manner. Re-print and package images via PACS, and/or CDs for distribution and delivery to physicians and other customers utilizing proper quality assurance measures.20%
Troubleshoot, resolve, and document; a) unread studies, b) exam problems within the PACS system, to meet established turn around times of exam availability, and proper exam coding for revenue purposes. Research solutions to problems working with PACS team and Radiology staff. Escalates problems as appropriate to ensure management awareness of problems that are severe and/or require engineering support. Maintain equipment for Radiology Department, such as, printers, computer, fax, etc. and able to delegate to appropriate service area for unresolved failures.

You have pronounced attention to detail and are obsessed with learning. As a lifelong seeker of knowledge you read everything! Patient care and excellent bedside manner is a top priority for you. When faced with a challenge, you take a breath, grab your resources, and make a plan! Preparation, agendas, and crushing tasks are your jam. You are an eager self-starter who wants to develop a strong foundation to grow. You have previous experience with testing and some previous clinical research experience is preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
What you will own & improve
- Diagnostic Testing: You will be responsible for performing diagnostic testing on patients including, but not limited to fluorescein angiography, ICG angiography, OCT, OCTA, fundus photography, FAF, montage imaging, external photos, and ultrasonography (Posterior and anterior B-scans), PDT, and visual field testing.Able to perform peripheral OCTs on specified areas of the retina.
- Equipment: Able to operate different Fundus Cameras; Topcon, Zeiss, Optos, and Heidelberg.
- Knowledge: of basic retinal disease process and understanding of how best to photograph each differently. Must be able to recognize the difference between healthy and concerning areas in order to identify where to photograph.
- Perform: IV access.
- Basic IT skills: to allow for trouble shooting problems with photography equipment.
- Train: Able to train technicians to perform OCT.
- Process important study information:Understand and have experience reviewing manuals and protocols.
- Technology: Comfortable following manuals to upload imaging in timely manner.
- Clinic flow:
Like a clinic ninja, you will manage the task of quickly and efficiently moving patients through protocol assessments. This includes traveling to the 5+ clinics that we work in throughout the Phoenix valley.

Medical Imaging Technician
We are seeking a Medical Imaging Technician to perform clinical diagnostic examinations, explain procedures to patients, and provide basic patient care.
- Perform routine diagnostic examinations, including room preparation and maintenance of equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure they understand the examination process and obtain necessary medical history
- Collaborate with physicians during invasive procedures and assist in providing basic patient care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality images
Requirements:
- 1-3 months experience and/or training required
- ARRT certification or equivalent required
