Responsibilities
To perform preventive maintenance service, preventive maintenance inspections, safety checks, and minor corrective actions on equipment at external locations in line with Manager’s instructions
Responsible for contributing to productive customer relationships, as well as following Best Practices in all administrative and technical activities
The majority of the work will be performed in Swedesboro, NJ, however all field service work will be conducted in NJ/PA/DE and surrounding areas
Service Process
Accomplish scheduled preventive maintenance as prescribed by the service manual
Inspect, report findings, initiate quote based on findings, and then conduct service or repair as instructed by Service Manager
Submit regular reports in the format specified by Service Manager
Keep adequate records and maintain documentation in line with agreed standards

Staying up to date with technical developments as shown in internal service bulletins and following technical courses when instructed by Service Manager applicable to equipment
Staying up to date with technical specifications of relevant equipment
Managing the Customer
Respond to Customer in a way instructed by the Service Manager to maximize customer satisfaction
Follow Customer Satisfaction Guidelines
Protect self and others

Join a well-established manufacturing team committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence. We’re hiring multiple Maintenance Technicians to support plant operations by performing equipment maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks in a clean, food-safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and document preventive maintenance on production equipment (e.g., conveyors, filling machines, labeling machines)
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Use hand tools and small power tools (e.g., screwdrivers, drills) for maintenance tasks
- Inspect and lubricate machines according to established schedules
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, materials, and repair parts
- Assist Maintenance Manager with coordinating external contractors and vendors0
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and GMP requirements
- Work under supervision of the Plant Manager; all work will be reviewed and approved
- Participate in required safety training and comply with OSHA standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or plant setting
- Familiarity with food production equipment and cleanroom protocols preferred
- Ability to work safely with PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel toe shoes)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and internet-based systems
- Experience with CRM or maintenance tracking systems preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Job Overview:
Shift: Day (1) Shift; 6:30AM - 7:00PM 2/2/3 schedule
The Spartanburg operation is a state-of-the-art coffee roasting and pod packaging facility in addition to hosting a full beverage distribution center. Spartanburg is the largest KDRP manufacturing and distribution location. The site will operate on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); leverage the principles of Lean manufacturing. All associates at the Spartanburg site will have accountability to both a functional business unit in addition to the full site operation. The site will run on first-in-class enterprise IT and manufacturing execution systems with highly automated processing, packaging, and material movement equipment.
The Maintenance Technician II at Keurig Dr Pepper will be responsible for facilitation and leadership to install, troubleshoot, maintain , and improve process and packaging equipment, to maximize production and maintain Keurig Dr Pepper’s high standards in safety and quality. This role will also be engaged in improving maintenance procedures and manufacturing processes for the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture .
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on equipment.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting capabilities on control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs, and PLCs on complex high speed packaging lines.
- Review documentation for maintenance activity using the maintenance database, adequately communicate maintenance issues to appropriate employees (e.g., other maintenance techs, operators, engineers, supervisors, etc.), and properly utilize the maintenance inventory system.
- Lead process improvement initiatives in assigned areas by analyzing equipment maintenance history, identifying significant causes of waste, coordinating with appropriate employees to develop root cause analysis (RCA), and providing maintenance assistance as necessary.
- Assist in day-to-day support of operators for adjustments, setups, and change overs
- Assist other maintenance technicians as required
- Work with engineers and vendors on special projects
- Use machine tools, welding equipment, and measuring devices to modify machinery as needed
- Will assist in the training and coaching others on best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Cost
- Understands costs associated with producing cups, to include: labor, scrap, material usage variance, utilities, spares, and downtime and use this information to drive the decision making process and level of urgency
- Actively lead generation of productivity ideas and continuous improvement teams.
Total Rewards:
- Pay starting at $35.80 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $37.60 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.
