What We're Looking For:
The Analyst II, Marketing Strategy and Analysis is responsible for the monthly digital marketing budget and projected return on investment across programs and verticals (similar degrees offered across multiple partners, e.g. MBAs). The Analyst II, Marketing Strategy and Analysis will be directly responsible for managing a portfolio of paid tactics (Facebook, LinkedIn, Partnerships, etc.) across programs with moderate complexity and revenue impact for the business. This role has ownership of day-to-day optimizing of the health of programs within purview against KPI's and is responsible for accurate management of spend.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Program Management and Monitoring:
- Actively manages the marketing spend of 2-3 moderate to high complexity and revenue impact 2U programs
- Uses data to flag risks and opportunities within programs/verticals, proactively suggests strategy to improve using statistics and analytical methods
- Identifies and executes upon strong/weak spend opportunities with direction from management
- Reports on pacing performance to leadership
- Works cross-functionally to create and execute new media campaigns, troubleshoot data issues, and provide program data to stakeholders
- Soundly speculates upon projected conversion of marketing tactics and likely ROI of spend for programs/verticals within scope
- Performs analysis on program health and identifies trends impacting KPI's, and highlights key discrepancies versus expectations to leadership
- Performs ad-hoc analysis as needed to support the larger team
- Acts as subject matter expert in 1+ key team functions
- Works with leadership to set the monthly paid digital marketing strategy and budget for 2-3 2U programs
- Creates deliverables conveying detailed marketing plan on a monthly basis
- Effectively articulates monthly marketing plan to leadership and makes necessary edits based on feedback
- Responsible for successful and timely completion of both BAU and ad-hoc projects through collaboration with leadership
- Owner of several key reporting/functional projects on behalf of the team
- Influences cross-functional teams to deliver material needed to complete projects
- Go-to owner of 1 or more business-critical projects
- Bachelor's degree (from a business, economics, or math related field is a plus)
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, analytics, or relevant business using data to solve problems
- Working knowledge of Excel, and some previous exposure to SQL or other databases
- Experience working with media engines, such as Adwords, web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and data visualization tools, such as Tableau preferred.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($74,500 - $85,700), with potential bonus eligibility. Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.

Negotiate advertising rates and contracts with vendors and third-party clients, annually.
• Achieve financial objectives by assisting in preparing an annual GWS budget as needed alongside SVP and Senior Director of Operations; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Build (as needed) and manage the digital marketing team ensuring clear, integrated team goals with delineated roles and responsibilities to support client’s needs. Schedule weekly meetings with direct reports as a group and individual check-in calls to ensure project workload is manageable.
• Attend annual in-person meetings in Detroit to collaborate, brainstorm, and work together as a team. Meetings to be held a couple times a year or as needed.
• Interfaces with outside clients and/or RSMD’s to convey the services offered by GREENWORKS Studio and how those services match up with their asset. This can be for potential Village Green clients during the RFP process, current VG clients, and potential outside clients solely for GREENWORKS Studio.
• Main partner and bridge to IT/Digital Team & Operations Support. Work with them on analytics, dashboards, be the go between IT/BA/GWS on transitions, dispositions and stabilized sites.
· Schedule reoccurring monthly meetings (as needed) with the RSMD’s to understand on-site trends, digital marketing needs, additional support needed, etc.
· Participate and join calls with the IT/BA/Digital Team to keep line of communication open and provide any updates they need from the GREENWORKS Studio side of the house, as needed.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Responsible to track both vendor invoices and client invoices in conjunction with accounting team with related direct service responsibility.
• Ability to manage a backlog, establish priorities, multi-task, and work proactively and independently. With a strong ability to coordinate and manage several projects at once.
• Ability to partner with internal staff to maintain brand consistency and integrity.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Strategy & Growth, the Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy (Growth Marketing) will focus primarily on developing and executing OHS cross-sell strategy. This will include ownership over existing cross-sell campaigns as well as innovation focused on new campaigns and go-to-market strategies to drive add-on purchasing behavior. We are seeking a highly analytical leader who will collaborate closely with internal teams across the business to drive cross-sell strategy and activation – this requires a general manager-mindset to take ownership of all aspects of cross-sell marketing.
This Hybrid role is based in our Naperville, IL office. Our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience, so a regular in-office hybrid model (generally T-TH in office and M & F remote) is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Identify opportunities to implement new, and refine existing, growth strategies to improve cross-sell and up-sell marketing taking a holistic view of the customer experience.
- Analyze data and prepare and present quarterly and monthly business reviews to deliver insights, trends, and key takeaways of all cross-sell marketing campaigns, working in partnership with commercial finance, business intelligence and marketing analytics. Obtain the necessary visibility to manage cross-sell efforts on a daily, weekly, monthly and longer-term basis. Build accurate campaign forecasts – ensure they reflect all known inputs and variables. As we test new cross-sell tactics, ensure that we are instrumenting measurements and controls so that we can gauge our success.
- Analyze performance trends and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to diagnose and proactively address issues or anomalies. Leverage customer data and market insights to refine marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Test and validate new marketing strategies to upsell and/or cross-sell existing customers into additional products, including bundled offers, loyalty offers, and outbound dialing campaigns. Lead A/B testing to refine initiatives and improve conversion rates.
- Partner with brand team to operationalize the customer value proposition – this includes key customer messages to help purchasers understand why having warranty products is important, as well as the breadth and depth of our home warranty product offerings. Cascade key value messaging across all touchpoints along the customer journey.
Experience and Qualifications of the Role:
- 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing or product marketing (B2B2C experience a plus).
- Proven track record of successfully developing growth marketing plans / roadmaps, executing strategies, evaluating / measuring impact and achieving measurable growth.
- Experience managing (or closely influencing / navigating) a P&L. Strong analytical skills, comfortable using BI tools (Looker experience is a plus) to build reports and extract data. Experience in Excel for analysis and modeling is highly desirable.
- Expert knowledge of marketing processes, creative & marketing campaign execution (traditional and digital).
- Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.) and marketing platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Experience with loyalty programs and cross-selling / up-selling techniques.
- Consulting and/or start-up experience a plus.
- Comfortable operating independently – a confident problem solver, self-starter and communicator who is comfortable influencing others, including C-level executives.
- Strong business acumen, analytically driven and detail-oriented with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.

The base pay range for this position is $25,000 to 160,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set.
