Job Description
This is a full-time, hybrid position. The candidate must be located in the Springfield, MO area due to regular local travel for in-person patient appointments.

- Interview disabled persons to assess overall recovery, including whether injuries or conditions are occupational or non-occupational.

- Work with employers and physicians to modify job duties where practical to facilitate early return to work.
- Evaluate and modify case goals based on injured/disabled person's improvement and treatment effectiveness.

- Complete other duties, such as attend injured worker's appointments when appropriate, prepare status updates for submittal to customers, and other duties as assigned.
- Education: Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years clinical practice preferred. Workers' compensation-related experience preferred.
- Skills: Ability to advocate recommendations effectively with physicians/providers, employers, and customers. Ability to work independently. Knowledge of basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook Email. Proficient grammar, sentence structure, and written communication skills.
- Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Must be in good standing.
- URAC-recognized certification in case management (CCM, CDMS, CRC, CRRN or COHN, COHN-S, RN-BC, ACM, CMAC, CMC) preferred.

Job Summary
Provides service and repair on a variety of Medical Equipment (i.e., microscopes, centrifuges, autoclaves, IV pumps, weight scales, dental machines, and anesthesia machines).
Learns and follows manufacturer guidelines relative to the operation, repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment.
Essential Functions
To perform this job successfully, an employee must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily after 90 days of training.
Install, Maintain and/or Repair Medical Equipment
- Independently responds to assigned customer service calls, diagnosing problems, and making appropriate repairs.
- Repairs, loads, delivers, installs, and specs equipment to meet specific manufacturer regulations.
- Trains to perform standard system installations and tests the functionality of all components.
- Trains customers on the use and basic maintenance of equipment at the customers’ site.
- Learns and follows specific manufacturer guidelines for repairs as well as all company, OSHA, or other agencies' policies related to asepsis.
- Completes all required service forms (service order, confirmations, inventory, expense reports, time sheet, and equipment related items).
- Maintains strong and supportive customer relationships by providing technical support after initial installation of Equipment, PC software, and hardware and ensuring that service commitments are met within standard response time.
- Maintains relevant communication with Service Coordinator, Equipment Specialist and Territory Manager.
Inventory Management
- Determines parts, supplies or tools needed to complete service requests.
- Uses, maintains, and secures test devices and tools used to adjust, calibrate, and repair equipment.
- Manages vehicle inventory and restocks, as necessary.
- Audits physical inventory on a bi-annual basis
Asset Management
- Ensures proper vehicle maintenance guidelines and safe driving habits are followed.
- Ensures proper use and maintenance of all company provided assets, including but not limited to phone, computer, parts, tools, and uniforms.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-5 years prior experience in a Veterinary/Medical/Dental environment.
- PC skills in Windows based programs.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Motivated team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience as a Certified, Licensed or Registered Veterinary Technician will be considered.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Carpentry/plumbing/heating/electrical/electronic related experience.

Position Summary
The Medical Field Equipment Technician provides front-line support to clients by performing installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of medical and dental equipment both remotely and on-site. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for client equipment-related inquiries and service requests
- Install, configure, inspect, and test medical and dental field equipment at client sites
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues via phone, email, and field visits
- Maintain accurate documentation of service cases, including resolutions and follow-up actions
- Escalate unresolved or critical issues to internal teams with clear documentation

- Monitor and track service metrics such as resolution time, customer satisfaction, and call quality

SUMMARY
An Optometric Technician/ Team Member is a valuable asset to an optometrist as they assist in providing a world class Total Patient Experience. This team member is able to handle a wide range of duties while using optical equipment to perform the initial testing needed to prepare a patient for an exam with an Optometrist.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support
- Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA
- Practice urgency at all times placing value on a patient's time, as well as the doctor's time and schedule
- Operate manual lensometer, auto-lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, GDX or OCT
- Follow scripting for testing equipment (photos, visual fields, visual activity, etc.)
- Clean all examination equipment including tonometer tip
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a courteous, professional manner at all time
- General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by manager
- Consistently creating a positive work environment by being team-oriented and patient-focused
- Commitment to work hours that meet the needs of the business which may include weekends, schedule changes or an extended schedule
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous medical office experience preferred; previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Favorable result on background check as required by state
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required.

Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands are essential, as the role demands constant grasping, writing/typing, and use of technology. Visual and auditory acuity—including color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus—is required 100% of the time. Occasional driving or climbing may also be necessary.
