- Explain radiographic procedures to patients and obtain complete and accurate histories relevant to the examination being performed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and provide protection in accordance with prescribed radiation safety standards.
- Implement and monitor local, state, and national regulations, standards, requirements, and clinical protocols for radiologic imaging services.
- Maintain x-ray equipment and patient information to ensure billing accuracy.
- Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist program or current validated Registry from ARRT in Radiology Technology (R).
- CPR Certification is required.
- Knowledge of RIS systems and PACS systems.
